Or simply make things like this commercials during the news, even Fox just plays their role as a caricature not actually letting people know what’s really going on or what’s going on in the past but instead being divisive. Would make sense of him to do that especially considering how much context is missing from this video about the civil rights act. A lot of important key factors left out that really shows the bias of @PragerU
Democrat John F Kennedy purposed the Civil Rights Act. Lyndon Johnson signed it into law on an election year, which was political suicide for Democratic support from the South.
The Senate votes for the Civil Rights Act were Democrat 46-21 Republican 27-6. Northern Democrats 45-1, Southern Democrats 1-20
      Northern Republicans 27-5
      Southern Republicans 0-1
      House Votes were
      Democrat 152-96 Republican 138-34
      Northern Democrat 145-8
      Northern Republicans 136-24
      Southern Democrat 8-83
      Southern Republican 0-11
For both the house and senate, over 95% of Northern Democrats and around 85% of Northern Republicans supported the Bill. Around 93% of Southern Democrats and 100% of Southern Republicans opposed it.
In the 1964 election, Lyndon Johnson only lost 6 states. Arizona, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina to Barry Goldwater. Barry Goldwater was a Senator from Arizona, one of the 6 Republican Senators who opposed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Hey… search up a map of blue states vs red states in the current US. Then search up a map of the US during the Civil War, and look at which states were part of the Confederacy, which states didn’t help stop the Confederacy, and which states were part of the Union. It should be pretty obvious that the Republican Party today was not the great party that it was under Abraham Lincoln.
This is because the parties swapped mid-20th century. Republicans went from left to right wing, democrats went from right wing to left wing. I mean, have you ever seen any Democrats fly confederate flags around like the Republicans often do?

The Cheesecake Factory incident that happened close to me where 2 employees called a black Trump Supporter a ni**** is showing true colors. Democrats are the ones that think black folks have low IQs, they make it seem as if blacks can't prosper without them. Meanwhile, their policies hurt the black Americans. Come election time all Dems do is blame Republicans, give us minorities a few food stamps and leave until the next election.
Edit: If you yourself are a black Democrat, say that you disagree and are a Republican. Let me know how fast they call you an Uncle Tom and tell you to get in line. I have seen it happen so much, Democrats don't want blacks to think freely.

The term I am going to demonstrate is “non-answer”. The practice of giving non-answers could be described as evasion, avoidance, dodging the question. Why would someone avoid answering…?
      Let’s begin
Question- Why do Democrats believe that 6 Jan 21 was an insurrection?
Question- How do Democrats explain how the alleged insurrectionists were to take over the government with cell phones and banners rather than tanks and what not?
Question- if the Democrats believe 6 Ja 21 was an insurrection, (albeit a very lame excuse)… How do Democrats explain how groups like ANTIFA and BLM managed to disrupt and destroy so many American cities can not be an insurrection?
Question- What cost did the following cities pay after ANTIFA and BLM made their “peaceful presence”? - Minneapolis? - Portland? - Seattle? - Kenosha? - Louisville? - Chicago ?
Question- because it’s the excuse… Explain how riots, looting, assaults etc have contributed to resolving racial unfairness and injustice?
Question- What positive contribution ANTIFA and BLM have contributed to our society to substantiate or balance out the destructive impact those two groups have had in American cities?
Question - Do all Democrats expect others to continue believing their hypocritical mindset?
Question- How does it feel when a Democrat parrots repeatedly the rhetoric of propaganda and informed citizens laugh?
      ….

    • @ozyankee4403
      @ozyankee4403 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Update for those who monitored the previous exchange concerning ANTIFA and BLM.
One of the questions asked was - What positive contribution has ANTIFA and BLM contributed to our society to substantiate or balance the destructive impact those two groups have had in American cities?
Hmmm . … seems in early 2022 some Attorney Generals are now questioning the BLM financial situation. Seems some questionable expenditures are now a concern.

The school system is a Prussian school system. It's designed to not educate, but school children and mold their minds so they can be easily manipulated by demagogues. @Krista Star Yeah, the Southern strategy was to keep Blacks down on the plantation forever while keeping them complacent by doling out scraps from the Big White House on the Hill. The Southern strategy was to block everything the Republicans did for Blacks. The Republicans freed the slaves after the Democrats fought tooth and nail to keep them in slavery, so the Democrats enacted Jim Crow laws to keep them in de facto slavery. Then the Republicans gave Blacks the right to vote, so the Democrats invented "literacy tests" and ramped up the KKK to keep Blacks from voting. All of the Southern states were a solid Democratic block until Congress passed the Civil Rights Act (which most Democrats voted against). Maybe you would like to explain to us why the Southern States were Hell for Blacks during the entire time that those states were run by Democrats.

Rosario Wilkerson no it’s not. It’s been well documented. See below
GOP says they are party of Lincoln.
How do modern Republicans of the south that support the confederate and 70 yrs of Jim Crow laws the same as Lincoln and the union of the north that fought against the confederates of the south?
Modern Democrats passed the civil rights act in 1964 (proposed by democrat JFK), the voting rights act 1965 (signed by L. Johnson).
Southern Democrats (modern Republicans in confederate south) starting in 1850 supported slavery and fought for its expansion.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Democrats
      1857 Dred Scott vs Sandford
The case started in Missouri (modern red state) which said he was still a slave even after visiting Illinois, a free state. The SC 7-2 decision against Scott, with Taney writing the dissent and using the decision to strike down further Missouri limitations on slavery.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dred_Scott_v._Sandford
      Civil War 1861-1865
Blue States of the North opposed the Southern Red States over enslavement of black people.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Civil_War
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slave_states_and_free_states
John Wilkes Booth was a southern confederate sympathizer, who killed Lincoln in 1865.
After the reconstruction from the Civil War the Redeemers controlled much of the southern states and enforced white supremacy in politics until 1910.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redeemers
Jim Crow laws mandated racial segregation in all public facilities in the former Confederate southern states from late 1800s until 1965.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Crow_laws
In 1948, white Southern Democrats (modern republicans), upset by the policies of desegregation enacted during the administration of Democratic President Truman nominated South Carolina Governor Thurmond for President. The "Dixiecrats” won most of the South. This continued the party name switch.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixiecrat
Thurmond represented South Carolina from 1954 until 2003, first as a Southern Democrat and then, from 1964 onwards, as a Republican.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strom_Thurmond
Civil Rights Act of 1964- Passed with 90% of Northern Blue States support and only 8% Southern red states support.
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Rights_Act_of_1964#By_region
Voting Rights Act of 1965 - Passed and Signed by modern Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_Rights_Act_of_1965
Note, there was heavy opposition from both Southern Democrats and Southern Republicans.
After passage of civil rights legislation, many more white southerners switched to the Republican Party at the national level. Southern whites shifted to the Republican Party due to racial conservatism. This continued the party name switch even more.
Southern Strategy from 1970 to 1980 is a modern Republican strategy to increase political support among white voters in the south. Nixon won all over US in 1972 by a landslide.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategy
Carter won the 1972 election with heavy support along the entire eastern half of US and Ford won with the western states. Carter remains the only Democratic candidate since 1964 to win a majority of the Southern states. Furthering the party name switch.
Bill Clinton 1992 election results map show support from modern blue states and losses to modern Republican states.
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_United_States_presidential_election

Cameron Gross - Listen to her other videos - she is an eye opener even for white people. There is a reason why the democrats today are hiding or denying this truth. There are no minorities in America. "Minorities" is a nomenclature advanced by the democrats to keep "people" separate (blacks, latinos, LGBTQ, women, etc.) They make it seem as if they advance unity when all they are really doing is reinforcing division. They corral these people into separate groups and brand them victims so that they can appear as their saviors. Why? When the democrats appeal to large groups they can ensure that these large groups (as a whole) will charge like giant herds to the voting booths and vote them into office - after which, they do nothing to improve the lives of these people. All they want is to be in power. All they need is your vote. The truth is we are all Americans (not African Americans, not Latinos, not whites, not LGBTQ, etc.) but the dems don't want this - this would mean they would need to work twice as hard to create a viable platform to win elections. It would mean they would have to gain votes the hard way - individual by individual (more difficult) rather than gaining votes easily by brainwashing entire groups of people. It's why they need to keep these people mentally enslaved to them. Kanye West may have emotional issues he needs to work through but he was totally right about the mental slavery the democrat party has caused in people. By the way, have you heard of the new Blexit movement (Black Exit from the democrat party)? Look it up. It’s growing. Thank you, Prager "University," for once again attempting to re-write history by only telling half the story.
Here's the rest - you know - the part they like to leave out in order to deceive and mislead...
It was under the Democratic administration of LBJ in the 1960's when the Democratic party pulled a major "mea culpa" and passed both the Civil Rights and Voting Acts. When he was about to sign the Civil Rights Act into law, LBJ said, "we're going to lose the south over this."
      And, he was correct!
Racist Democrats in the south - everywhere - jumped ship and joined the Republican party in droves.
By the time of the Reagan administration, there had been a complete turnaround.
The south - formerly predominantly a Democratic stronghold - became the "red zone" as we know it today.

Take a drive through middle America, it looks like an atom bomb went off in much of it. Obama might have been great for the globalist causes, but he and the democrats wrought havoc on the middle class and jobs in America. Even today they pay no attention to why they lost their power and still push the global agenda that decimated the middle class.
When you turn your back on vast swaths of society you lose your ability to rule. So now they want to abolish free speech and attack anyone who fails to think like them because the only way back into power other than trying to force and shout down their opposition would be to start to address the needs and wants of the vast swaths of middle America they abandoned under Obama, thus admitting they were wrong in the actions and policies they undertook.
Ideological beliefs are dangerous, because they are rigid and unchangeable. To lead in America you have to consider all Americans not just the ones who agree with you. And to an almost religiously zealous left that's simply something they aren't willing to do. Thus we have our current state of madness in the world. Until the left becomes more rational and starts to try to convince rather than force, the left will continue to lose in American politics.

@@thehashtager4750 The extreme left has done more damage than the right has throughout recorded history. The KKK is a minuscule shadow of what it was compared to when it was first formed by the Democratic party. But still, we have our differences. You may have your reasons and I have mine. Not everyone sees things through the same lense and if you dislike Republicans for it I understand. I'm not holding the Democratic party accountable for any of it's past history today. I'm simply saying that is my reason for not voting. I think we can both agree racism is bad, I would never advocate that. I try to read as much as I can and it sounds like you do too. I respect the conclusion you came to, so hopefully you can with mine.

@@leelewis6925 No, the Democratic Party didn’t create the Ku Klux Klan
President Donald Trump has faced criticism for normalizing white nationalists but some conservative bloggers are trying to flip the script, shooing the Ku Klux Klan out of the "Big Tent" and into liberal territory. historians generally agree it was founded by a handful of Confederate veterans in Pulaski, Tenn. as a social fraternity and it quickly changed into a violent group that terrorized newly empowered black and white Republicans in the South."
One historian confirmed there’s a historic link between the Democrats and the KKK: Many angry Southern whites during the 1860s and 1870s were Democrats, and some joined the KKK. But according to J. Michael Martinez, who wrote the 2007 book "Carpetbaggers, Cavalry and the KKK," it’s misleading to say the Democratic Party founded the Klan. It was a more of a grassroots creation, Martinez said. Plus, the Democratic Party of the past is not the Democratic Party of today. From the 1930s onward, "you think of the Democratic Party being considered the party of the disenfranchised," he said.
Carole Emberton, an associated professor at the University of Buffalo, agreed.
"Although the names stayed the same, the platforms of the two parties reversed each other in the mid-20th century, due in large part to the white ‘Dixiecrats’ flight out of the Democratic Party and into the Republican Party after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964," she said.
Back in the mid-19th century, various Klans in the South acted as a "strong arm" for many local Democratic politicians, Emberton said. The Confederate general believed to be the KKK’s first Grand Dragon even spoke at the 1868 Democratic National Convention. By the time the Civil Rights Act became law, the Democratic Party supported so-called liberal causes that "had been the banner of the Republican Party."
While some Democrats supported the KKK, there’s no evidence the group was founded by their political party. And context matters-the anti-black Democratic Party of yore is not the party that Joe Biden belongs to today.
