When I was a kid here in Brazil I got this tape by changing. The guy who traded with me said that this game was about the Street Fighter cousins. I grew up looking for this game and finally found it. In my mind they are still cousins to the "Street Fighter" guys.(Sorry for the bad English but I wanted to share this story with you)

@@Bloodreign1 Just because it has both a Ryu and Ken clone doesn't necessarily mean that it is a Street Fighter parody. Although, I don't know if having a Jojo reference and a Back to the Future reference does it any favors in that regard. That being said, it is 100% a SF clone, without a doubt.
SNK was able to float it's arcade business and a home console for a very, very long time with titles like this. They defined what we know as the modern fighter - Street Fighter was an imitation, not a definition. Most just don't realize that.
This game is amazing. I wish I had it as a kid.. bout to get the arcade version for 8 bucks on Xbox One! It has 1000 gamerscore you can get in 30 minutes...
World Heroes was in many aspects a clone of Street Fighter and others -----> Brocken = Mr. Bison , Dragon Fei Long / Bruce Lee , M. Power = Hagar or Zangief (maybe bit of each), Hanzo = Ryu ? , Fuuma = Ken (japanese Ken) ? , Rasputin = Dhlasim (maybe russian Dhlasim or just coincidence)
Prof - "I came at a good idea" Brocken was my favorite, even if he was a Bison wannabee. I made Bison beat Brocken's ass at the end of my CornflakesVania video, haha.
Honestly, this game doesn't look too bad. It's no Mortal Kombat or anything, but it certainly looks playable, and one of the main characters is a blond Joan of Arc who still fights with a sword, what more do you want?
great game, but I always felt like this and part 2 on SNES were annoyingly cheap with spamming the same attacks and blocking everything. I could never ever beat the games on normal difficulty.
After seeing the Arcade version, this version is just...kinda underwhelming. I know, I know, inferior technology, but this port still rubs me the wrong way. Good thing arcade perfect ports are coming out on disc format, or else, this would continue to be a problem.
the cartridge features two very noticeable extremes, on the one hand, the beautiful configuration worthy of a 32-bit platform game, on the other hand, the low-quality characters as for an 8-bit game, the sound is very poor, they could have improved, the truth is that this is a 4 point cartridge.

Brocken kinda plays like both Dhalsim and Raiden in 1 character.
Sunsoft worked pretty hard on this port. The sprites and sounds are way better than those of Takaras WH2 on SNES.
