i have a question, why do hbcus have a low graduation rate? i'm nigerian, and i'm just worried for these schools.
I would say just because it says "low" doesn't mean it absolute small as ever. Its compared to big white colleges (pwi's) who have 10x more students then what hbcu's have. It's many educated and very intelligent black people that come out of hbcu's because of how good the education is from these schools. Don't be worried about us cause we might now get the shinning lights like pwi's but we always making it fashoo that! Our Vice President came from an hbcu, we everywhere even if you don't see it!

I say yes cause your gpa good asf but try to take no more electives cause it’s going to bring your uw gpa up hell more. so it would be a even better chance with your sat I think you gotta have it a little higher and you’ll be good. Ion remember the requirements but wish you the best !!

Hi beautiful! I’m a junior in high school right now with a 3.6 weighted and a 2.7 unweighted and my SAT score is a 1030, you think I have a good chance at getting in?
I believe you do cause your SAT is good if your ACT is high then yeah. I would say try to take more core classes to bring your gpa up. I think your good idk what school you plan on going to but I wish you well love!

@@hassanjamal4212 I ended up raising my GPA to a 2.9 unweighted and 3.9 weighted and I retook my SAT and got a 1070 and got in!

I'm a junior right now, class of 2022, and ncat has always been my dream school. I have a 3.1 (weighted) gpa and got a 21 on the ACT and plan to retake it, but haven't done many extracurricular activities. Do you think I have a chance at getting in?
No school activity really doesn’t matter unless it’s going to benefit the college. I honestly don’t think they would not accept you because of that. I would say just work on your gpa a lot because that really matters because weighted doesn’t mean a lot as unweighted does. But always work on that and and a little community service.

I applied in the fall got deferred in my early second semester.

i failed most my classes and went to summer school soph year for my credits but my gpa stayed the same. i have mostly a's and c's junior year though
@@haffa0905 no you got one more year just grind and go hard for your senior year. Colleges are going to accept you regardless so you will be fine. It’s folks in college who have 2.0 gpa’s and graduating so you will be fine I promise
