Actually, the rainy season is my favorite travel time for Bangkok, it doesn't rain all day, it's still pleasantly warm and when there's a thunderstorm, you can usually find a cozy coffee to chill and something to eat 😊 and rain has a great atmosphere, especially in Asia😊😊😊…. ❤it
Well, thanks my friend! Rainy season, is romantic season for me.....I call it liquid sunshine...everybody should go and enjoy the smooth, silky water on their skin....:))
This brings back so many memories of my favourite place in the world. I just love the city especially during the rainy season. Haven't been to Thailand for 5 years due to health reasons but am hoping to be back at the end of the year for 2 months.
The first time I was in Sth East Asia including 5 days in Bangkok was during August & September, spent 5 weeks and only saw about 2 days of rain. Since then I have been to KL & Koh Samui during the wet season and it's usually just 1 hour of rain in the afternoon. Still there is something special about the rain, enjoy it for what it is, as you say, it freshens it up a bit.
All of my many visits to Bangkok years ago were in January, except one which was in May and that year while it rained it was light rain for the week that I was there. Thank you for this video as it brings back memories.
Beautiful rainy video , we've had a lot of rain in my city too and the temperature has dropped from 39°C to 18-19°C ,its chilly now😮.Once we were jn Bangkok in May and we were lucky to get only ome rainy day ,and our whole trip including Phuket went great .Love Thailand ❤
We were there last year, April to August and it just felt like a regular weather lol some days rain and not for the whole day and some days not. I can't wait to be back in Thailand!
I really enjoyed watching your rainy videos during my 2 weeks in asq. I didn’t have a view so i had to see on YT how it looks like outside. Finally out of ASQ and i was soaked in water but hey, i arrived!! Still here 🙏
Bangkok is 1 m above sea level. The sewer system cannot drop below sea level or there won’t be flow down to the treatment plant. This is also the reason why it smells and flooding in certain parts are frequent. I experience the same situation in Hoboken, NJ.
In Bangkok I saw there is a chanellised pathway along the side of the Roads, which allows rain water to flow into the gutter.and stops water logging. Its a good idea which i appreciate..
rain doesn't mean the same as europe and america where it's miserably cold. i love the rain in bangkok. all the rain and drama then clear skys and fresh air,
I have been in BKK and rest of Thailand in July and Aug, the rain is a bit annoying ofcourse. But do no not forget it is still very warm, not cold rain as we are used to in Nothern Europe. That would be never a reason for me not to travel to Thailand.
Hey can you please tell what is goin on in Soi 11. All bars are close diwn even the restaurants 😢 so sad . I have just been there a month ago everything was fine now all is gone . Thank you
The rain isn't like it used to be in Bangkok. The 30 minutes/hour downpours don't seem to happen so much now. Much more of an all day Eurooean type of rain

Thanks for giving us an insight on the Bangkok Raining Season. Good to know it does not always flood completely.
I think it might be kind of nice walking in the rain because of the Bangkok heat.
Hello from Chicago! I really enjoyed this episode.
I love how I can follow the videos on google street view. The street view shows, sometimes, how much a street has changed from a year or 2 ago.
In 1.5 weeks I will be in BKK. First time rainy season. I always love the atmosphere of your walking in the rain videos 👍

Nice you explain the rainy season. I like to see the man sitting on his chair and smoke a cigarette in the little rain on 5.55 minutes. 🙏

Why walk on the street back to traffics when you can walk on the sidewalk? You must have a death wish
Been here 3 days and not one bit of rain
This was premonsoon rain. 30th may rains was the first monsoon rain in Bangkok.

Look miserable, didn't know it would be raining when I booked the holiday as I will be going in July.
I feel sorry for the street foods vendors. They can't run businesses with rain.
Bkk is so alive
I wonder where the drainage system leads to in Bangkok Thailand i wonder if it leads to the rivers.
