We recently bought a brand new one. REALLY nice car and so practical in many ways. Yeah the seats… but I’m a very OCD kind of person and so far no mess. I was surprised on the 2 airbags deal. Not really sure why VW decided to do this. Drives REALLY well! Sound system (8 speakers) are very good. Such true sound! Definitely a HUGE upgrade from the older version. About the speed… It’s a family car. I don’t need to RACE to my destination guys. It has enough torch… thanks for sharing!

It looks really good. Not quite as good looking as the hatchback but it's not too fat off. The power output is uninspiring but it gets the job done. As for that light interior, looks good but cleaning is gonna be a pain😭 Overall this new Polo sedan is a good package for the price (weird to say that about VW these days). Enjoyed the review. The market shifted towards SUV’s in recent years and manufacturers had no choice but to give people more of what they wanted. Sedans are still excellent all rounders in my book and I’m glad VW kept atleast one Sedan for those who are still interested.
Sad to see you guys getting inferior engine option compared to India from where it is being exported to your country we get TSI engines all across base variants get 1 litre TSI and top variants get 1.5 mtsi even the base variant of 1 LTS has more power compared to what you get 1.6 and mPi so sad
great car... not because i drive a polo sedan ..but coz of the experience i've had with mine ...puttin laggage in the sedan is a breeze..long distance travels are a breeze .. saves fuel ...not the best wow car out there but certainly does what its meant to .. running costs are quiet low ...in fact after your warranty's done ..still can do minor service like changing oil and spark pluggs all by yourself ... good aftermarket value as well... and yes ai driv an old old polo ...but sure wou'd still buy one to keep at home for daily driving and cost savings .... just pains me when i see the Bolt and uber drivers crashing them... and yes we will buy them even when they save ..heyi heyi ,,high risk car ...we will still buy amaPolo ...anisyeke .. great review budd ..! i think you need to also do some design review elements to every car you review and compare that model to the previous ones jus to give people a clear understanding of what may have been improved ... so we can distinguish between a facelift and a new model ..without just saying it is..!..

I have a 6-speed automatic version of this car, trust me the 6-th is really useless. The engine is so underpowered that the 6th gear can only move on a flat/downhill road. Even the smallest incline will require a change down. I wish VW carried their 1.5 TDI engine to this car
@lufunoraphalalani The consumption is very very bad around town. I get like 9-15 l/100 km. It's only better on the freeway. The best I've been getting on freeway is like 6.5-8 l/100km. The 6.5 figure is on a very flat road like the N1 freeway between Polokwane and Pretoria, sticking at 120 km/h and the highest gear as possible.
@lufunoraphalalani Yes, but only this new model is thirsty because it is heavy. Otherwise, all old models are ridiculously so good. I was getting around 5-6l / 100km on with 2022 model, and I wasn't even trying to drive it well.
