- Due to Gregg Allman's recent medical procedure he was only able to sit in for a few songs so all his musical family stepped up to the plate to help him out! God Bless him!!

I'd very much like to think that if Duane Allman had lived to see and hear Derek, Warren, Susan, Oteil, Marc, Kofi, et. al., he would have been very proud of the next generation that carries on the music and spirit of the Allman Brothers Band.
Derek is fantastic and how about some props for Warren Haynes. He knows what he's doing with that Gibson.

F'ing Greg stand back and move away slowly never were spoken as gracefully as that and never with more soul than that. That man wrote it she sang it well and appreciates it all to hell. Greg was a soul man no doubt, i almost didn't appreciate it fully until I heard her voice sing it

I I've watched the boys grow into something almost beyond belief but not unexpected we all knew Derrick would great and he sure did not disappoint and Warren as well and Susan is the cherry on top thank y'all for making the world a better place to live
Gregg Allman is still in the band Ian. This performance was around the time Gregg had many health complications and he only played 4 or 5 songs had to sit side stage for the rest. This was April 2012. Now Gregg is fully recovered and in full swing with shows. They are on tour right now as a matter of fact!

Sue is great, but there is NO substitute for Gregg’s voice on this song and there never again will be. Miss you Gregg

Derek is amazing. I've seen the Allman Bros four times, three shows were back in the late 70's and one was in 2005 with Derek. There are some good slide players out there and for sure Johnn Winter is one of the greatest, but the baton was passed from Duane to Derek. The icing on the cake is that Derek is Butch Truck's nephew.
