Kolkata is the best affordable place. I recently transferred from Hyderabad to Kolkata and here I rented a fully furnished 2BHK flat in a gated community for 18K per month. The same flat would cost 35-40K in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

My budget in Bangalore
8.5k PG - 2 sharing (with food but I don't have it)
0 - Travel as I walk to office and office cabs also available
10k miscellaneous (food and fun(movies etc))
That totals it too 19-20k
Trick is to chose local PG rather than branded ones
P.S. - there is no food in PG as well

Bangalore South (Jayanagar, Banashankari, Basvanagudi) is much better planned and organized for traffic. It is the OG Bangalore. Abhi double decker flyover bhi hain.

If Bangalore is so expensive, then why people go to Bangalore? I am fresher in IT industry, so that's why , i am not able to understand the benefits of moving to Bangalore after seeing so much demerits of the city

Good question,
Basically Bangalore has many many companies so there are a lot of chances that you will get an opportunity here.
And the main thing is that you get paid far far more than other cities.
I know people who want to go back to other cities but not getting the salary they are getting in Bangalore

But ya great opportunities are important if you want to grow exponentially in your career. Let's see when destiny takes me to Bengaluru . I want to experience this city.
