I'm an international skateboard coach. I taught in Ningbo China on behalf of SBSX for 5 years and recently moved back to Canada. Some of my students from china got the opportunity to meet you Mitchie. You're doing a wonderful thing sharing your passion and knowledge with the next generation, Keep it up!
Im 44yrs old old man from south korea. Ive been skating for a year. And your lesson is so easy to understand and have helped me so much with my skate. Thanks so much for inspiring and sharing your knowledge. God bless you.
I don't skate, and only tried a bit when I was an early teen. Got frustrated because I didn't understand anything, even the "basics". You're an amazing teacher. You're technical and patient, and you have a superb ability to break down a problem and provide guidance to help the skater learn the feel to land a trick. Every video of yours I've seen is wonderful - really makes me want to try skating again after all these years. Keep up the great work!
Love your content Mitch! Can you do an in depth or just a vid on how to fall without getting hurt? I know you have one for vert, but more street or transition would be awesome! 🤙🏼
Mitch I know you ride vert but more so speaking for a street style setup do you ride loose or tight trucks? I notice your board has some give to it. Thanks for the educational video!
Regarding rotating ollies at @46:30, I've noticed as a beginner that my shoulders and not aligned with the board, and I open them as if I were trying to do FS 180. It takes me a lot of effort to stay over the board with my shoulders aligned with the board.
Can I ask what board set up you use? Wheelbase, deck width? I am running with 9" deck with 15" wheelbase. My shoe size is 12 US. A bit thinking going to a little smaller deck. Maybe 8,5". I am 190cm tall, so 6'2" or 6'3" I think. I stated 2,5 years ago only skating. Would like to learn Ollies better and also mini-ramps, vert-ramps too. I have never had a 8,5" deck, always these big size boys only :)

you can try not turning your head in a trick and also crossing your arms and swinging them out parrallel with the board when you pop
