RAF Typhoon and BBMF Lancaster Beachy Head Cliffs Flypast Eastbourne Airshow

- This year The RAF Typhoon display aircraft and the BBMF Lancaster did a great flypast together, at the spectacular Beachy Head cliffs, and then flew down to the Eastbourne airshow, where they did a few laps before the Typhoon did it's display infront of the crowd.
I’m up north and miss all these great shows. The flying by the typhoon is just incredible. Thank you for sharing that is incredible filming. All the best Paul
Great capture 🙂👍! Did you film this on Saturday. If it was on Saturday Ive must been walking past you. I did arrive late and Typhoon was already flying. I've stopped and watched the show 🙂. Very impressive display and beautiful weather.
This was filmed on Sunday, I did film on Saturday but I had the camcorder set to automatic settings, and the shutter speed exactly matched the Lancaster propeller RPM, so the propellers on the video were not moving at all, the footage looked crazy with the propellers frozen, so I went back Sunday put on a x4 ND filter and set the shutter speed to 100, and now the propellers were spinning very nicely, It was a great view of the flypast at Beachy Head.

Wow that looked very close. Looks like the typhoon is struggling to keep going so slow

Amazing how high up you have to get now to get aircraft sea-locked, you'd think 500ft on Beachy would do it but no.

If the Typhoon moved forward enough the pilot could high five the guy in the rear gun turret 😄
