You must surely be aware that it’s available as a podcast, so what’s your angle? Are you doing some kind of commentary or fair-use thing? Is the visual component that vital? Real talk, it is a more rich experience to see the facial expressions and camera cuts/choices but at least for me, not so rich that I don’t always hear it as a podcast before the opportunity to see it, thus making me less thrilled for the ones I do have the ability to see. I’m not being critical, just curious: what IS so important to you about full episodes being here? 🤔
I am not the original poster but I love this long form podcast. I appreciate the more immersive experience of seeing the faces and hearing the voices. Wouldn’t probably “listen” exclusively, ever.
Im on board with the full interviews, too! It also would help with listening cause a lot of times it auto plays to a different interview, especially when listening to older videos
If they released full video episodes at the same time as the podcasts on those platforms (Spotify, Apple, etc) then viewership on those platforms would go down significantly while TH-cam views would only go up moderately. Because if you’re like me you listen to the podcast and then you also watch the various clips. You wouldn’t do the same thing in reverse. Not having various 10 minute clips rather than a 1 hour long video would also mean less views/money since the same viewers are usually watching all the clips rather than just one.

I agree with Conan's assessment about a threat walking towards you slowly instead of running at you being scarier. They're of course both terrifying scenarios, but what they're really talking about about here is the idea of an imminent threat versus a persistent, relentless threat. It's a matter of meeting your fate quickly, or being forced through the torment of unending panic before inevitably meeting your fate.
As someone who loved horror movies just so much when I was younger but cannot really bring myself to deal with the additional bleakness today, I absolutely adored them talking in such depth about the intricacies of horror films like that and what makes them work. Such a wonderful conversation, really made my day. Thank you so much.

TH-cam is the medium that saved Conan, i would argue that is where his largest core fan base is, i can't see besides contractual reasons why each full podcast isn't uploaded entirely to youtube.
My favorite part of this podcast is whenever they tell Sona to do something remotely related to improv, she warns them that she can't do it, they make her do it anyway, and then spend an obscene amount of time making fun of her.
There's a layer of hilariousness in that his voice is raspy and he seems like a different human than I've ever seen him. I think I've seen him be 47 different humans, but this is one I've never seen and the way he's sort of humbling himself is very endearing. I'm not a fanboy, I've only seen Get Out, I'm going to watch Nope eventually, but I love the sketch show a tone, and I like him a person, I think he's incredibly talented in so many ways, and he also liked a post of mine on Twitter. A++

Conan’s description of a slow build perfectly describes The Wicker Man (1973). Conan may have some relation to those living on Summerisle 😃 Can see him swinging his arms and singing loudly (like he did in church) at the end of that film 😁

Gervais constantly whines about people whining. His distaste for “political correctness” bleeds into everything he says, hence why peele says Ricky is more Brent than Ricky realizes. Brent valorized crossing the line with zero self awareness of his effect on people, kinda what gervais has morphed into.
@@nbadraft08 Ricky is a genius imo. his portrayal of a mid level manager at a corporation was genius and the whole show stems from his initiative. his comedy stays true to his comedic sensibility and he doesnt compromise a punchline to spare an individuals feelings. I personally find him overall tastefull as he doesnt seem to choose a side but targets everyone equally if he sees humor. this is just my opinion and i respect yours if you disagree.

people need to aknowledge that this wasn't just a full episode, they edited it and made it even better than how great a full episode would be. loved the floating heads. edit: did ricky gervais get canceled and i missed it? he says he's his friend but acted like talking about him was beneath him in the presence of conan... seems beyond just intended as a compliment and that he has some problem with him
yeah he was acting like a weird little bitch about... i love the keenan and peele skits, but i feel like peele has a defensive and narrow minded chip on his shoulder.
Jordan is very funny in skits, but he is quite a self-important guy who is easily offended and has issue praising someone who may be unaligned with his political views. Pretty fragile but big ego on this guy. Normally I love this podcast but this was painful to get through.

Jordan Peele and Bill Hader are such film nerds, great comedians and love directing it's awesome. I love Jordan's take on Halloween, he mentions how Michael Myers tilts his head after the one kill like "interesting", it's definitely a comedian's eye people watching a good film.
Hearing Jordan talk about British television and how we can perfect the awkward cringe environment I wonder if he’s ever seen shows like Peep Show or others
