Munakata is literally amazing. I absolutely loved how many layers this character had. I would’ve loved to read more stories about him but I guess K is over now once and for all.
They honestly did such a shitty job with the show. Season 2 was pretty much just panty shots and they altered the art style. But season 1 and the audio CDs? Lots of potential. just kind of sad that you learned way more about the characters through the audio CDs than you do in the actual show.

Right after that, Munakata orders the same drink as Mikoto--as if to say he feels the same. He can't stand Mikoto but he doesn't fear him. In that sense, they share a camaraderie between just the two of them. They both understand the "loneliness of a King." At the beginning, they were bickering about how each one is drinking without his clansmen, right? While they each have their own "bond" with their clan, at the end of the day, a King and his clansmen don't stand on the same ground; the King is superior and the clansmen respect (and in another sense, fear) him. That's the loneliness of a king, or as they say, the loneliness of being at the top... Notice that Munakata said: "So you felt like drinking ALONE tonight, huh?" "ISOLATING YOURSELF and being surrounded by only a select few... You truly are a KING, aren't you?" But Munakata and Mikoto don't fear each other. It's because they see each other as "equal." You only fear someone because you think you are inferior / they are superior, right? This is actually one the main themes of K-Project, particularly the Red and Blue King arcs.. I think that this particular radio drama is masterfully written, because it's cohesive from beginning to end, plus a little comedy and subtle references :) sorry for the long comment, I can be very boring but I do what I do and love
