As a CU fan and Broncos Fan, I was blown away when I heard that he went undrafted and didn’t even get a combine invite. He was so explosive at Cu and just steamrolled defenses. He’s definitely going to do big things in the league
Honestly, it's his size. He wasn't worth drafting, easier to get him as a free agent with a lot of leeway to deal with him if he turns out to be just too injury prone. It's a simple fact of weight and height really
That year we ended as the 8 seed watching Phil was so hype he would fight threw anything and was the emotional leader

The first time I saw Phillip Lindsay play, me and my dad went to see the broncos beat the bengals when he ran for 157 yards and 2 tds and I looked up and saw him running down the sideline. There were also annoying bengals fans saying how Marvin Lewis is doing a great job and Andy dalton got surgery immediately and then the angry bengals fans behind us yelled in unison, “why don’t you run the ball”

Jacob Zacks seriously I’m happy someone made a video of this kid, for averaging the most yards per carry before sanders went down, hitting the highest mph speed timed this year and having an amazing story. There is absolutely no content on TH-cam about him.. you’d think everyone would be making videos about him. I can only find like 3 videos of analysts talking about him and maybe one film breakdown...
Meanwhile Barkley blows his nose, and within 20 seconds there’s a analysts breaking down his grip technique, preferred tissue brand and lung capacity

Phillip Lindsay tutored at my high school when he played at CU. He was by far my fav CU player and when he got signed by the broncos I was so hype when he made it I was hype. I honestly dreamed he would have a season like that but really was expecting a special teams player. Man I was wrong.
I love this kid. I grew up in the city of Longmont, which is very close to Boulder, and was a fan of the Buffaloes growing up. This kid comes out of nowhere and just shreds defenses at the NFL level. I'm glad he's playing for my favorite pro team as well!
