These guys have been a big part of my life, and so has this show. It’s always been the one constant in my life that uplifts me and makes me happy when I’m feeling low. This show may be in the drama/ horror type genre but it’s these two guys that put the heart in this show and that make it so impactful in ways that are beyond my capability to explain. The conventions, the interviews, the way they portray their characters on screen, the way they treat their fans like this huge unshakable family.. it all contributes. Ask any SPN fan and they’ll tell you that they’ve never quite been the same since starting the show, in a good way. They have managed to create a fandom that is just as loving and as caring and as open as they are with each other and as a cast, I rarely find that type of thing from any other show or fandom. It’s really quite unique. They are the definition of soulmates- it reminds me of my own best friend, who I can definitely say is my soulmate and has and will be my friend for life. 😄
