I built this awhile ago. I absolutely LOVE IT!! Paddles are smooth, rapid response for both the triggers and the buttons! Highly recommend it for anyone wanting paddles

@@YoussefGhouila it was only about $60 for all of it. At the time they didn’t sell everything in one kit so I had to get each one individually and combine it all myself

@@AnilD97 yeah, once the controller is powered off the lights also shut off as they are connected to the same source. You basically install a two way switch for the lights, and the rest of the controller to run off the singular battery.

I'm making a super combo controller myself!
But the PS4 version, with LEDs, whole clicky, and the remap kit fully soldered, also adding in transparent and white interchangeable joysticks! With a pink front shell.

Is their a good explanation on why you have to move the gears over to a certain notch instead of just taking the motor out instead . Also does this apply with the new style of button for controllers with silver screws ?
Because we use the gears to stop the triggers going down too much which may cause the defective if you press them with hard force. It apply to both BDM010 and BDM020 version (020 is the newer version).
but when you install all 3 mods doesn't the ribbon cable connectors you pile on top of each other, @ 33:20 Cause the motherboard to bend a bit? I know its thin but 3 lays builds up to about a mm.
just received both kids. Will try it later on on my white Controller. will build a all white custom PS5 Controller.
I like whole white too but just too easy to get dirt especially for the thumbsticks

We are working on it, but it's kind of difficult, the installation must be not friendly, will you challenge it lol?

Today I just finished this exact setup but with the 2.0 hair trigger buttons I have yet to remap my buttons cause I’m not sure what buttons to remap. I have to get use to the controller cause it is very touchy

Same I have the paddles, bumper and trigger mouse clicky buttons, removable height adjustable thumb sticks. And it is brilliant. Like a scuff tbf.

I wish we could have something like glowing buttons like only the PS logo and PS symbols like X,O, triangle and square. And only when you pick it up or press a button. These lights are just way too much. I want to control the LEDs myself. And a on/off switch for the controller would be convenient. Not having to press a button combination for a long time.
Are you willing to do the soldering if we make it turn on/off along with the controller?

@@reyoktayhan Unlike the PS4 controller, we can't find any unsoldering method to detect the PS5 controller was turned on or off (maybe the microphone can do it? we will check it out), so if we want the LED to sync with the controller on/off, we have done the soldering. And if we want to control the brightness of the LED, we may still use the buttons combination like holding L1+L2 and then click the up and down to control. All of these are still in concept, thanks for inspiring us!
I'm stuck on minute mark 14:20 for the trigger stops. I installed the gear cover to the fourth mark on the cog, but as soon install the second black cover the trigger doesn't work at all. If i remove the cover, the trigger functions normally. Any idea why?
This is really hard to follow, as I only want to install the led and face buttons kit. Are there any other guides with both of them? I don’t mean like singular ones because I don’t know where to put the stuff on because it’s two separate videos please help.
We don't have that guide. But it's not so difficult if you just install the DTF LED kit and FACE clicky kit. Install the FACE clicky kit flex board first, and then do the DTF LED flex.

Is it ok to just remove the motor from the trigger instead of leaving it in? It seems to serve no purpose other than to add dead weight.
Is there a way to just buy the ribbon cables for the paddles? Like without the plastic set only the ribbon cables

I did this whole combo remap mod and everything works perfect except my D-pad. My right D-pad doesn't work unfortunately and it's not clicky. It feels way harder than every other button and when it works it needs a ton of effort. I don't know if there is anyway to correct that
Please try to only install the FACE clicky and test the Dpad, if it doesn't work either, then please email us via email at info@extremerate.com and we will send you the replacement of the FACE clicky, thank you
I installed only the face clicky button but its the same. Also, the LED lights for my right analogue stop working a few days after installation. This happened with my first mod too but then I thought I ruined it mistakenly but I think it some sort of defect. I will send an email to the above mentioned address.
The first 5 mins took me 1 hour 🤣

I wish they had option for only clicky bumpers. Doing clicky triggers kinda renders it useless for ps5 games

I can't make my controller turn on but the led kit works, i plugged everything right even triple checked everything is on its place but still not turning on, did i miss something?

If your using the dtf v3 I did this with mine and a rise 4 it turns out you need to us the ribbon cable from that box instead of the one that comes in with the rise 4 it need to connect on the other side of the ribbon board of the LEDs.
