Don't worry I came from a family of 9 kids sure it was hard but we're al grown up have our own life's. Not everything is perfect but we are fine. We all live different lives and it's ok. Don't worry years do go by too fast❤
Having them so close together is tough! It is ok to feel overwhelmed and need a break! I have 6 kids. And it does go fast. But there are days like today where I need a break. Had my husband take the kids out for a bit, just so I could have a break to recharge. It was so much harder when my kids were all under 5. It became less overwhelming after that. The fact that you get burnt out and overwhelmed. Means you care about your kids. Which means you are a great mom!
Love this new series! I'm thinking butterscotch pudding mix would work great in those cookies. Kind of butterfinger flavored. Chocolate pudding mix for a chocolate peanut butter cookie would also be great. I've made peanut butter cookies and mixed in chopped up bits of Andes' chocolate mint wafers. It sounds like an odd combination, but if you like mint chocolate, it actually works great together.
One way to get the entire peanut butter out of the measurement cups is to spray the measurement cup first, then add the peanut butter or honey if your using honey

Cookies were always being made here, kids n hubby loved them , i have to agree with hubby the key to great cookies is to take them out before they are done as they continue to cook on sheet while cooling. now another thing i do when i store the cookies is to put a slice of bread in with them , the bread will get hard , leaving the cookies soft and chewy!!! works like a charm and have been doing it for many yrs ...... so ty for sharing this recipe with us , it def looks amazing and i will be giving it a try , !!

How are you able to level off dry ingredients in a glass measuring cup though? I've always used dry measure cups for the dry ingredients to get more accurate measurements. The glass i was taught is fir the liquid ingredients. Something to do with volume and mass and fluid oz vs dry oz
my grandma says u can tell when baking is done by smell lol but yes ur hubby is right. I have double oven n oven stove combo so I do 8 pans at once. if I double or triple I scoop n put on sheet pan n freeze( raw) leave over night then I freeze 2 doz per bag. so if grands have bake sale or need fir church or we just want cookies we just pull out n bake .I always have likeb5 different choices

what brand is that mixer?? I'm assuming you can use it plugged in as well so if it should die. I have a new Hamilton beach reg hand mixer n hate it. my other was like25yrs old blk n decker but died on Thanksgiving ,so I used my stand mixer but I really love a good hand mixer . I use scooper too.

I have to use an egg replacement because I have one child with an egg allergy, however, so fingers crossed, they turn out as good as yours 🤞🏻 Would you recommend the same temp. and cook time if cooking the dough from frozen?

You don't have Crisco over there? Wow. Do you have lard? You could maybe use that instead, but it may change the flavor. You could probably use oil, but I think you'd need to use less if you use oil. You could also just use all butter instead. It would just give you a crispier cookie. Maybe if you use all butter, add some cream of tartar to help keep them softer? Like a teaspoon or so. Just trying to think of some alternatives for you...
It's like the solid version of oil or sometimes called lard but here lard comes from animal fat I believe then vegetable fats are used for the shortening. I like margarine or oleo sometimes butter
