Thanks, this was a great overview, most detailed I've seen on the H22 surf setup yet. Was the goofy wave w/25% port ballast full as you suggested you like to ride? You didn't show the final fill levels, but assume that you can go by the gauge. And, are those fill gauges measured by a float, or is it based on timing? Wave looks great too. As more videos get out there, hopefully we'll see the comparisons that all different changes in ballast have on the wave- so, w/ and w/o shaper, different levels of ballast and additional ballast (whether lead or bags). Thanks again, great video!

Hey Ken. The wave shown in the video was actually just the factory settings, so just full on either side you're surfing on and speed between 10.5 and 11 mph. When I ride I like to add 25% to the port rear (I surf goofy) and I run about 10.8 mph. The ballast gauges are on a float.
Glad you like the video !

@@rogersperformancemarine1337 Thanks for all those answers! That's cool gauges are on a float. I'm goofy as well. Keep up the great videos, I'll be watching. Maybe next one with a surfer too!

Does the H22 or the WT-Surf have a better wave??

Hard question to answer. The h22 definitely has a wider wave, which I like alot. It protects alot more water especially in rough conditions giving you more side to side room to play in. It has very similar length to the WTSURF. The wtsurf seems to be a bit taller, but keep in mind we've spent 5 years playing with the WTSURF to Dial it in and only a half of a summer in the H22. I do feel the H wave is more adjustable with the ballast tank set up, and I've yet to surf it with 8+ people in it, with gear and all, with that weight I'd imagine it'd be the best of the bunch.
