Respect for still making them in Ozzie land. Most comfortable work boot in Canada

Redbacks are the best boots I've ever owned, I have 3 pairs! Would love to see the "Walkabout" Oxford make its way to Canada.

Great to meet you today in London! Thanks for the rejuvinator. My Bstones did not spontaneously combust and look much better than before applying it.

More than likely this product has mink oil. Mink oil will darken the leather. If you don't want the leather to change color. You can purchase a product that is a neutral conditioner and that does not include mink oil.

I ended up having to oil mine the second day after purchase. They got a stain from a dark liquid or oil that would not come out with Redback suede/nubuck cleaning kit. I’m ok with the now darker appearance that is still lighter than there brown models.

I like the out of the box color more. Can you just spray with water repellent spray?
Can you use the reguvinator on the other two CSA boot color?

Water repellent sprays work well on suede and nubuck. Reguvinator should work fine on smooth leathers and darken less than the nubuck.

Do you guys respond to questions on your website? I sent you a question weeks ago about when this boot will be back in stock and absolutely nothing from your side. And yes, I'm in Toronto and it was to Redback Canada.

I'd try a pair if they had a toe cap
I'd destroy them in a month
Can't seem to find them with it.

I wish Redback would make a roughout suede model.

there is a "banana suede" colour offered in Australia, pretty cool, but not a big seller in our slushy climate!

    • @thedemonnemo

      @@redbackbootscanada8348 I live on the USA/Mexico border,
which I think has similar climate to Australian Outback, everything is very rough on smooth leather, maybe these "banana boots" will work great. :)

@@thedemonnemo I ordered a pair of the rough out from Aus through a seller on ebay. Worked out the same as buying a pair in Canada w/shipping...they've held up great to 1.5 years of construction use

As others have said they're available in Australia in banana suede, google redback UBBA. Mongrel boots also do a suede boot made it n Australia, currently wearing a pair although the arch support needs a few extra says breaking in, they're a wider fitting boot

Funny…he never mentioned cold weather…..and he is in Canada
They are so cold below zero…even with sheepskin inserts and two pairs of
    Socks your feet will freeze

    • @Murtagh653
      @Murtagh653 ปีที่แล้ว

not surprising, given that they are made in Australia for the Australian climate..

These aren’t a winter boot. However I always wear a leather Chelsea boot like these in the coldest part of the country, and never had any issues with feet freezing for casual use in the winter. If you are working outside in the cold, wear winter boots.
