Mine have been stuck at this video's 20 day mark for weeks now, and while they're still a deep green, they just haven't progressed beyond that point. :/
I have some seedlings that don’t seem to be growing out of that stage. They have been outside to ensure proper sun exposure should I keep them inside as they continue to grow and maybe use a grow light? My husband really loves chamomile but I can never successfully grown it for him 😢 help
All plants need adequate light. But being in the sun all day is hard. Give your plants time to rest too. I gave 24-hour light for the shoot. I am reflecting now. Sorry Chamomile! If they don't grow well even with adequate light, other factors may slow their growth. For example, soil acidity, temperature, etc. I hope you grow well and make your husband happy. :-)
Chamomile needs sunlight to sprout first. Don’t bury it. When it is a couple inches tall or when it stops growing quickly you need to transfer it to the ground or a bigger pot. All seeds have everything they need to thrive until the true leaves start growing. As a seedling they are perfectly happy in whatever you started them in.
I've been watching this multiple time is it possible to grow it from seeds to seedlings. I've already brought 5 pack of seeds but none of them grow. 2 packs was planted indoor and the remaining outside in the blazing here in Philippines. please help any other advice to germinate them in a week?
It's really strange that even though you planted many seeds, none of them sprouted. Make sure it's not an old seed. And for about 5 to 7 days, pay attention to watering so that the soil is always moist. I wish you success!
I have planted Chamomile in my herb garden but because it's annual, I've had to replant each year. This year something is growing in the spot where I planted them 2 years ago, the leaves look like Chamomile but is that possible or is there a weed that is very similar?? I wish I could post a photo on here.
When sprouting chamomile, sunlight is necessary. After sowing the seeds, simply leave them as they are or cover them lightly with soil. Water frequently until the roots grow vigorously, but after that, watering thoroughly occasionally is sufficient. It's best to ensure frequent exposure to sunlight. 😄🙏
There are various conditions for germinating seeds. Check whether the seeds are healthy or whether the germination rate is low because they are old. Even if it's a small seed, it won't germinate if it's planted too deep. Also, some seeds need sunlight to germinate while others need to be in the dark. However, water should always be plentiful. I hope it will germinate well in the future! :-)
I'm not sure if it grows well in tropical countries. Please consider that chamomile is native to Europe, North Africa, and North Asia when planting. :-)
I’ve tried growing it in Thailand during winter. It grew really slow, less than half of the speed shown here. 2-3 months later it still had the height at around day 20 and no sign of flowering at all. Now it is dying due to mildew.

Mine too! They're planted in the ground outside so I'm hoping the flowers just randomly pop up one day soon.

The real issue is the lack of protein in the soil or dirt simply buy some soil from home depot and add untop of it
I think they have a 24 hr grow light on this plant. Mine have looked like the ten day mark for weeks now.

Plant Chamomile & Yarrow with your cannabis (or any essential oil producing plant) as a companion crop to increase essential oil production.

I’d pay for a bag of whatever soil they are using! Nothing I plant grows even remotely close to that rate. My plants look 10 days old at 3 months!
