@@Spyker8921 The track was wider too though I believe back then. I know Webber made a mistake, but, this pass is insane. I expect nothing less from a peak McLaren Kimi. Fastest driver in the world.
@@taptlim5509 He was not very slow, he just went wide and Kimi made a massive risk in going alongside him and passing. Massa and Rosberg tried the same move in 2011 and failed.
God the dierector for this race was awful. They choose to watch cars going through the hill instead of watching the aftermath & finish of an exceptional move. The dierectos today are better, the fact that racing is better is proberbly 10% down to a better dierector of the camera's, to make it look more excitting. What an Arse hole. What a Move by Raikkonen.
Sadly they both retired due to car failure I think. But yeah, I don't know what the other guy is on about with his 'blue flags' because that is only for lapped cars.
First of all, re-read my comment as a reply to the other guys and it will make more sense, second of all, it's waved when the car in front was lapped by the car behind. what would be the point of waving the flag if the faster car has already passed the back-marker? I am very aware of the Formula 1 rules, thank you very much.
This is Gold. Cheers Kimi.
Amazing kimi!
This is one of the best passes EVER at Monaco. Mansell should have done this to Senna in '92! Classic Iceman!
1) The cars were 35 cm wider in 1992
2) Webber made a mistake in Sainte-Devote which allowed Kimi to get back on the throttle earlier than him.

@@Spyker8921 Kimi fans don't believe in facts. They are deluded
You do? Kimi would have probably passed Senna in that scenario. Senna made numerous little errors and the track was wider.
Cope.@@barbarooza8408
Shouldve but couldnt, 1992 cars were not designed to even consider such overtake, nevermind on senna who wouls take him off maybe cuz it was his style
Why isn't this overtake talked about more often?
Straight up. The best pass I have ever seen at Monaco. Show me one better.
Because it only happened because Webber made a mistake and was very slow up the Hill. Webber missed selected a gear.

Amazing increadiable pass by Kimi Raikkonen!
Because Webber made a mistake and had a very bad exit.
You simply can NOT pass in Monaco. This is just amazing. Ice man forever!
Kimi = Outside overtaking master
Webber World Titles = 0
Raikkonen World Titles = 1
Both men retired this race.
in a track like Monaco Webber made 2006 Williams seem to be driveable
wow incredible

Good Webber . Perez Noob.
raikonnen went to mclaren for his 2nd season but webber only had a good car in his 8th season i think
Webber looks like a rookie,still in 2013.
That's what I'm saying, the other guy is saying Webber needed to pull over for Raikkonen or something.
Webber was drinking vodka or something.....
Super
Webber was 2nd, Raikonnen 3rd. Just how do the blue flags affect that again?

What's happened? We need to know !?
what did you do with your gears mark? :(
