This is really well edited. Very believable. So much in fact that I'm not quite 100% sure it's fake. Edit: after actually watching the end as well I AM sure it's fake.
Very funny Charles, you are a creative man, Jenny was amazing, we are in Venezuela very proud of him and other great musicians who are succeeding all over the world. Johnny Castro
Actually, I find conducting without a score much easier than with the score (you don't have to worry about page turns 8^)...), however, I would like to see him try to rehearse the orchestra without one. 8^). All kidding aside, If I have performed a work many many times or studied it for years, it is actually easier to perform it without referring to the score, however I ALWAYS have the score in front of me during rehearsals and preparation.
Gustavo Dudamel, Star Maestro, to Leave L.A. for New York Philharmonic Dudamel, a charismatic 42-year-old conductor, will take up the Philharmonic’s podium in 2026, in a major coup for the orchestra.
Look gustavo dudnamel is only getting help from him in transitions and ques gustavo is making the music hes interpeting the music and shaping it to his taste
The funniest part is that there is actually a well known german tenor (and no not Kaufmann), who does exactly this in all of his performances, because he is abysmally bad at memorizing his parts.
Il grande senso comunicativo di Gustavo Dudamel e tutto il suo humor.....simpaticissimo e grandissimo!
"quit fluting with that trombone" hahah sweet blooper.

Thank you!

Memorizing music is not that hard
comedy!
.......and now take a couple of minutes to reflect on the loaded nature of that comment.
Maybe try memorizing all the parts for entire symphonies, including the 90-minute Mahler's 3rd symphonies...
Kidding?
