Looking at K-brads list today in 2019 his call out of smug becomes terribly ironic. It's K-brad who hasn't been seen in top 8 in forever and smug who's been repeatedly in top 8 at international majors. I didn't even know k-brad still played fighting games until I looked up his CPT page. He has 5 points and placed 33rd at NCR 2019. Not bad for a random.
I'm still very disappointed that Mike "Miguel" Ross left the FGC. I read his Reddit Q&A; I accept his reasons, they are perfectly legitimate 'cause they're his and his alone. Do I think that he could return to the community and do what he was doing previously? Very easily. I think most of his problems with the community were his own.

I've been seeing his partner in crime Gootecks make top 8 at a few tournies. But then I see him get blown up too when he gets in the top 8 lol. SF V right now is like DOA5. Just spammy. Like Mike says all you got to do is push buttons. That's what Mike did when he 2-0ed K Brad. Many games these days are very press button friendly.Developers are trying to make fighters more casual friendly. Sadly most casuals get murdered because the pros develop tech faster with these casual friendly games.Prime example is this game.Game barely been out a month and you got Sonic Fox making Top 8 in SF major tournament with a character that is considered bottom tier. I can't wait until Juri gets released. I'm already feel she will be top tier. Because in SF V it is so easy to get in and press buttons. Juri is that type of character.
