Living the life there dude, great blogs you been doing and a nice set up you have to, I'm a river fisherman at heart aswell based in England and fish on the Thames, I got myself a fox bivvy boat , pod clamps ,engine etc for my trips around Europe just before covid hit , sitting collecting dust since but hopefully get back across the channel soon and wet a line , il keep tuning in for now . @@carpwithnoname yeah I can't wait if I'm honest hopefully sooner than later, I got rigid boat on the Thames as travel isn't an issue but we don't have the numbers of carp like abroad but they are here if you percivere, look forward to your next blog and just working my way through the ones I've missed, tight lines and be safe my friend 👍

I like your fishing style, keep doing more boat fishing:) Could you please share details on boat and tent which you use? Are there any disadvantages of boat fishing, from your point of view, if compered to conventional one, on land..thanks in advance:)
Hey thanks man! Yeah more boat trips coming soon. Only disadvantage is wind exposure in my view. But there is almost always a place to “park” or anchor the boat where there is some shelter from the wind. This is an extra strong version (Raptor Extreme 470) so much less likely to get damaged than an aluminum or polyester boat and only weighs 140 kgs so a small boat trailer without license required. You can easily combine bank and boat fishing in one trip. The tent is the Raptor boat tent and fits perfectly and is quite high en has plenty of room. If you can park the boat in shallow water or even with the nose against the bank then you can even stretch your legs a bit more. Don’t forget a towel. I always love to go for a swim 😁

Hey Dave, Dankjewel man! Dit is een 470 extreme met bijbehorende tent in kleine opstelling voor maximale dekruimte. Ruim anderhalf jaar redelijk intensief in gebruik en heel tevreden mee. Kan tegen een stootje ook.
