Cheers 😀👍🏻 I use both depending on where I am but I’m happy just soaking maize for a couple of days. When it’s slightly harder the roach & bream don’t like it as much 🎣🐟

Had a couple of old commons recently from dunham and agden area. Nothing massive, only doubles but good to see there's a few carp about after the fish kill years ago.

You don’t when you have the bobbins at the front..I’m only fishing real close to the boat so all the pick ups are the type which try to pull the rod in 😀
Come night fall & once all the boat traffic has stopped I will switch the bobbins back behind the alarms 👍🏻

Quick question - with the outboard I read somewhere you have to do some kind of boating test in France if you use a 6hp or bigger on the rivers is this something that's enforced regularly and that's why you use a 4hp on your main boat ?

I use the 4hp mainly as it’s easier to transport & carry by myself

Hi Lee..mainly kastking in 40lb or fox submerge in 55lb. Both quality & kastking a lot cheaper! 👍🏻🎣
Jim your leaky boat can be fixed but would entail taking it out, turning it upside down and letting it dry out in the sun, then it can be repaired. Not so many ❤ly fish on this trip, but great.
