He's such a good actor and seems like a very interesting human being. He's so underrated. I loved his role in the zookeeper, skin, my brilliant career. Great jobs Sam
Don't think he is under rated. He would not be a considered a "Mega" movie star. But a look through his resume of films over the years, shows that he has always been in demand. Somewhat similar to Hugo Weaving.
S V after watching him for almost 40 years, Riley Ace of Spies and The Final Conflict were the earliest roles I remember of him, this is THE FIRST time I’ve seen him interviewed. Interesting guy
I love how respected Sam is. I have a similar feeling to his acting as William Hurt. Very restrained and nuanced for the most part and hugely entertaining when they have a role they can go to town with. Always enjoyable to watch.
He was marvelous in Riley Ace of Spies from way back. He was also the best actor in The Hunt for Red October among others. Frankly he should be a first choice for lead rather than supporting actor. He has presence, poise and an endearing humility, maybe its the humility that is unpalatable in a leading man these days.
I always loved Sam, I can't believe how loved he is, he completely deserved it, You know those actora that can adapt si genuinly easy to those imposible characters, he is one, brillante!
SLEEPING DOGS, world, was the start of the commercial film industry in New Zealand. Rugged and raw, worth a watch. Sam Neill still humble and wonderful. Kapai. Nick N.Z.
after watching him for almost 40 years, the tv series Riley: Ace of Spies and Omen III: The Final Conflict were the earliest roles I remember of him, this is THE VERY FIRST time I’ve seen him interviewed. He’s a interesting guy
AMAZING CAREER. This guy has done it all : obscure "Art films" (MY BRILLANT CAREER) to mainstream Art films (THE PIANO) to Blockbusters (JURASSIC PARK) to award winning TV Series (THE TUDORS, PEAKY BLINDERS, ...). My favourite is a little known artsy European horror gem called POSSESSION (1981). Look it up.

I love you Sam
Dr. Allan Grant
NO!!! THATS REALLY BAD IDEA!!!
The Piano. He was superb in That film.
Why is his work in "Reilly, Ace of Spies" never specifically mentioned? He was mesmerizing in that TV series, based on a real person.
Probably because it was a British series produced for that market. Never saw it down in New Zealand, from memory.
He was great in day breakers
Great man wonderful star modest and real. Well that's what I believe anyway.
Happy he could make it back safely. That was a close shave with a T-Rex back there.
Sometimes when he smiles.. there he is. Dr. William Weir. Before.. his change, if you know what i mean..

Check out Dean Spanley, which also has one of Peter O'Toole's last performances on film
Really knocked it out of the park in the horror film Event Horizon
he literally quoted the wolf of wall street haha
