Maybe Ariana's note wasn't the best of the bunch, but the thing is I don't think it was trying to be the best. For everyone else, the C6 was the highlight of the performance. Everything was building up to it. It was supposed to be held out. Ariana just effortlessly did the C6 mellisma and continued belting and doing choreography like it was nothing. Her ease is just mindblowing.
EDIT: Since I'm getting backlash for this post, let me clarify. I never said Ariana has the MOST ease out of everyone in this video. For example, Mariah in her prime had much more ease. I never claimed Ariana is the best singer of the bunch either. The only reason I made this comment is because Ariana's isn't praised the way the other greats in this video are. I just wanted to highlight one of her vocal qualities I feel is underrated.

The fact that Beyonce and Celine uses headvoice already outbreaks other ladies. Celine has such a beautiful and high tessitura. Her headvoice is amazing! All other ladies were using falsetto except for Demi and Deniece.

Well,Perrie is just making fun of hitting that note but she definitely nailed it.Better than the actual performances of some artists on the list.Damn!She's perfect.And by the way,she was smiling while hitting that note which makes me laugh so hard co'z most singers shown in this video were struggling so hard.My faves are Perrie,Celine,Beyonce,Mariah,Nicole and Demi.
They weren't struggling. They were just using proper form and technique that singers are taught.

She really stands out doing more classical music. Nicole doing Phantom of the Opera, and an accapella version of Ave Maria showed where she shines as a singer to me.

Dinah Jane was the best one in my opinion just because she was 15 years old during that performance and she can hit a note like that. That's what you call talent
ShadiEdits the younger you are the higher your voice is so she had it the easiest out of everyone and still delivered a shakey note

I love Whitney’s. The note is like a belting note and still has darkness, depth with emotion and beautiful tone. Whitney is still more like a mezzo than pure soprano and that’s why she can only keep the note in a short time. But when The Voice tries to do something, it ‘s still The Voice. She can interpret any songs into stories by her beautiful tone.

Head Voice and Falsetto are NOT the same thing
That's why I said "Head Voice/Falsetto", because some of them hit the note in head voice (eg. Whitney, Mariah, Beyonce, Kylie, ...), some hit in falsetto (Ariana, Xtina,...)

I believe females have falsetto. All the singers here hitting the same C6, but some sounds airy, weak, disconnected, unresonant like Ariana, Xtina, Ivy Levan,... Because they were using falsetto to execute the note.
While singers like Whitney, So Hyang, Beyonce, Kylie, Mariah,... have resonant, strong, clear, vibrant C6's, thanks to head voice.
Also, the way to execute falsetto and head voice are different, which means females can have and develop both registers.

Even female have falsetto. You can distinguish it because when the voice is more airy that is falsetto. Obviously it is more evident when a girl has a lower voice than a "normal" female voice
