So elegant. The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA has some similarity especially the stage and dance floor in the ball room. Most guest love that part of QMary in CA. They need see to the Cunard Queens. Would love to do a world cruise on such a ship even though I am unable to travel. Thanks for video.

The short sequence at the Britannia dining room showing the mobile phone on the table confirms my practice never to sit at a table for a party greater than two.

Lovely film but could have done with couple subtitles pointing out locations. Looking at a Baltic on her 2022.
Eye watering prices for booze and the internet charges are obscene - but - still Cunard is my number one choice....
IKR! I find wine prices a cruise ship are always crazy, unless you can use OBC (onboard credit). Pints were okay, but London prices. The secret is to fully employ the 'one bottle per passenger' allocation. Internet charges... I'm keeping that phone on Airplane mode! It's been so long that I can't remember now, but I think that Cunard privilege tiers offer varying levels of free minutes. So, it's hop on, update your email (or podcasts) and hop off, then wait until you find a good hotspot at a cafe onshore for everything else.

@@soulbasedliving it is just a little smaller than the Queen Elizabeth. Much smaller than the Mary. Very elegant and quiet. Even full it never feels crowded. The clientele are light drinkers so behaviour is always pleasant. ❤ Forgot to add that the shows are brilliant, service is excellent and unintrusive.

Nice walk through tour, but, horrible music selections. You’d have done better to leave it without music.
Le Visionarium i can’t do that cause during my walking some bars and lunges had copyright music playing, you can lower the volume yourself if you want to watch the video, I have to add music to my videos to don’t have my videos or my channel blocked

Really? Or you mean the Queen Mary 2? Cos Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 2 are cruise ships designs to withstand a storm for their Transatlantic route.
i thought cunard line only made transatlantic ships to keep that tradition alive
@@alexguevara8641 yeah they still do but Cruise is where the money is i guess. Like Queen mary 2 is definitely a Ocean liner design to cruise. Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Victoria were Cruise ships design to face the translantic storm so being that they were Cruise ships they could go further inland in any vacational destinations while QM2 needs much deeper water Ports. Plus Carnival Corporation owns Cunard so yea they probably gonna ruin the Brand.

Elegant? Perhaps compared to the tacky cruise ships out there, but it doesn't take much nowadays to impress the tacky American. I wanted to like the new Cunard ships, but they ended up being just an apartment building on a hull. Not as themed inside as the gawdy ships out there now, but they still lack what past liners had. Too bad.

Dave You’re right; Carnival seem to destroy the traditions of all the lines they buy. If you buy something with a reputation why not try and preserve it.
@@grahamdouglas1 I don't think Carnival know what reputation is or what it means. Cunard is meant to be trully British being as they have British officers onboard their 3 ships. Hardly British when Carnival flag the 3 ships in Hamilton instead of Southampton just so that people can get married at sea. Amazing how P&O ships are still all registered iin Southampton.
It's a fair point, if unkindly made. Luckily, plenty of other cruise lines offer more excitement.

Most miserable ship, did a 15 day cruise on her the first year in grill class found it dark and dingy ..The queens room was like a ballroom from the past big and like a huge barn or town hall.I don’t think this idea of going back to the past in decor (only)works.I have traveled on the old ships of the past and the atmosphere was completely different the dress code,the service,the quality and food was in a different league.This is Cunard as a brand name trading on past glories.Should have made it modern inside like most ships decor today.Not try to emulate something in just design of the ship.I found it depressing and we are young at heart.
Boring ship,not much intertainment....if you young do not go on any cunnard ships,you will get depressed within a couple of days.
Indeed, not a ship for the children. No waterslides etc, but if they like cribbage they'll be well catered for :-)
