It's his choice to be an IAS officer, because he thought he could serve the nation with his skills. I applaud him for taking this stance, and I'm sure he'll use the knowledge he gained in his current position as the collector.

All professions deserve equal respect. Sad the students have to face insane amount of pressure and competition to get through literally anything only to feel they aren’t enough at the end of it( most of the times)
