Invaluable contributions to couples and family therapy by Dr. Johnson through her research and development of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). EFT is empirically-validated unlike most approaches to helping couples. And, it is supported by the plethora of research on attachment theory and the science of emotions!

Most couple to me have a loss of each others loving and consideration for each other. Couples often fall into disparity because they tend to want more from other people then each other. Or they want more then the other person is willing to give them. Couples have to learn to work as team players there is balance in everything we do.
