@@Goldeneye3336 ask someone like pinkacross about if the meta is unbalanced, a seasoned ou player and builder will agree I don't need trash talking with no real proof behind it
both those stall players demonstrated rule number 1 of playing stall lol, which is not to make crazy predictions unless absolutely necessary. with a stall team you usually can't make any significant progress in one turn so it's almost never worth it to take risks, instead you have to think in terms of which plays are the best overall and would be the most consistent. i don't play stall in modern gen coz i find it lame, but i build a lot of stall in gen 3 and it's surprising how interesting it is, it's strangely similar to HO in my experience since just like HO you have to completely change your thought process
If you’re using Stall against a team with breaking strategies and an opponent who consistently makes momentum plays, you sometimes need to make a play early on or you’ll be down later
@@xufactor85 that's what i meant by "unless absolutely necessary", there are some situations where hard reads are necessary but with a well built stall team those should be rare. even if it seems bad to give up momentum or not punish an obvious play it's still better to be consistent than risk the entire game, you just make too little progress per turn and it's too punishing to take chip or lose a mon if it goes wrong. like i said i don't play stall in modern gen so maybe it's a bit different with all the regen pivot bs, but the general idea is the same
@@aldrichunfaithful3589 “unless absolutely necessary” is going to be at any point in the game against a top player with any remote chance of breaking stall. It’s only because mid and low level players eventually lose momentum that you can play passively.
@@aldrichunfaithful3589 “unless absolutely necessary” sounds like playing passively until you’re really behind. That loses to the strategy of your opponent making momentum plays early on and only expecting you to make plays when you’re behind.
@@Goldeneye3336Not his point. A 12 year old who plays like a stupid dumbass will still lose to me playing stall, even though I'm just an above average player (peaked 21st on ladder).

i love how the team is just like the 5 best pokémon in the format + araquanid
Finchinator became the very thing he swore to destroy
i love watching high ladder OU play even though the meta is horrifyingly unbalanced
Meta is balanced. You have troubles building proper teams imo. Try using good teams made by competitive players.
@@Goldeneye3336 i can build in ou don't just say my opinion is incorrect because i suck
also play against kyurem for 5 seconds

Ngl that stall team actually looks really cool and creative (the gastrodon one)
Big ups to my boy Araquanid, super underrated Gen 7 mon who erroneously gets overshadowed by the fraud golisopod.
for all the 12-year-olds who are now going to spam this on ladder, no, this team does not automatically break stall for you
Its still a p good team and the fact it can break stall at all is enough
It actually does. This is very good team to break non Dozo stall.

He did not forget to put libero
Blaze is a perfectly valid ability choice
Blaze is more common in Cinderace than libero currently, unless it was bulky Cinderace.
