Most overrated card, horrible quality as well as seen one seen them all. All hype
It's all about the almighty value of these cards. If it was only a two-dollar card, nobody would care. Counterfeit concerns most definitely wouldn't even be in the question neither, because nobody would want it. Everyone loves letting value dictate what they purchase.
@@vintagecollector5340 Well said, they collect based on other people's opinion. Only reason these PMGs are high is because of Nat turner overpaying and people beig suckered. Such a false market cards are always horrible shape and quality is complete garbage

Constantly people defend grading of cards, and yet constantly I see videos like this. So, explain how this is good for the industries. it seems contradicting to me.
Making money, that's basically it.
People have simply lost sight of what grading is there to do.
People who constantly defend the grading companies are either ignorant or have a vested interest in those companies 🙄
The card was recolored from a base card. You could see the difference at Jordan's left hand. I also had a video explaining this card in Chinese.

There was a Green PMG on Mercari about 2 months ago. It had a serial number 9/100. The seller had it priced at $225, i was temped to buy at first,but the low sale price is what kept me from buying. That card is worth 3mil. It sold the next day lol.
Greens came in packs. My local dealer in 97 had a green Jordan that a customer pulled out of a pack.
Who was the seller selling a fake Jordan ?

Unfortunately, the "0" in the BGS database provides multiple possibilities (altered, authentic, minimum grade reject, failed crossover/grade bump,...) and without scanned images, these situations are always difficult.
Lack of scans in 2024 is unacceptable
Wait....I get the concerns with this card being counterfeited, but did you say this card is NOT serial numbered? 🤔 In many cases, this would insist a test sample or error. However, assuming this is an authentic card, be it a test sample or error, this also raises red flags to how many truly exist of these PMGs.
I mentioned that in the video, the other inconsistencies suggest it’s fake/altered rather than a test print.

Equal parts informative and frustrating! Noticed that it didn’t go through the eBay authentication either! I’m guessing that guy couldn’t believe it was slabbed! Beckett is losing a lot of credibility! Psa seems to be catching a lot of the Jordan fleer rookie fakes! For other people posting in comments, YES grading is a necessary evil. It gives some sense of security and more importantly allows you to sell the card over multiple platforms. Psa already is getting the lion’s share! Gotta think this hurts bgs even further
When I came back to the hobby. The first things I checked was fake 90s cards. And luckily we have a group of collectors dedicated to this. I have expressed my disgust on this topic. Neither grading nor the auction companies are very reliable. (I have to stress I have more faith in PSA grading on 90 cards) I once saw a 1998 Rodman Star Rubies sold at nearly $12k is very likely a backdoor one. This shows how CRAZY this kind of things are.
It always amazes me how they can still slip through and fool companies despite the knowledge being so vast within the community
