I agree that a car build was a better choice than a van. Vans in my experience as a driver for so many years are notoriously unreliable, parts & mechanics for cars are easier to locate not to mention greater parking options. 😊 looking forward to your forthcoming shenanigans. 😅

Having the versatility of a rooftop tent or inside for colder weather is a cool idea 💡 Do you have a way for ventilation when you cook inside, maybe a small 12volt fan hooked to the window? If you cook in such a confined space without exhaust ventilation you could have some awful odors.

How do you keep warm when you wake up on a freezing day on your trips? Also please can you tell me where you got your covers for your windows? Thank you. Your channel is super and I hope it continues to grow.
I would move the light bar forward as much as you can, otherwise you will be lighting the sky for the bat's, owls and vampires. There will be a dark spot on the road because the roof line cuts it off, then put a deflector under it so it doesn't shine in the windscreen. You need to raise the car with a new pair of shock absorbers

we were thinking about it but i think for now we will hold off, i may do a few days in scotland which will be freezing then hopefully off to warmer climates, see how i go theres very limited space for it but i could fit under my NEW seating area but would loose alot of storage, its a bit play around and see what works, i did scotland in -10 in the galaxy last year it was bloody cold feet were twitching in the night but it was .... doable, boil the kettle couple of extra layers

heat wise would be a struggle last year i was in -10 in the galaxy with no heating and it was ... very cold but driving wise yeh could be a struggle also low to the ground and would deffo need chains or socks, id possibly be willing to give it a go
@@wanderingwhere the roads up there can turn into ice rinks mate and can often close due to heavy snowfall. I wouldn’t venture out up there without 4 wheel drive in the winter,it’s like Narnia lol

yeh ive cooked inside with 2 cars and the odors deffo linger im hoping to be cooking out the back with this car for the most part

If I was you Adam, while building it I'd look into fitting a diesel heater in the car somewhere got to stay warm mate.

similar, that was my ford galaxy and a different style of roof tent, this is a side flipper, hopefully show it in action in a few episodes time
