Good on you for building the shifter. all the aftermarket shifters have their quirks. I've got a Gennie in the 37 and the cane is always loose. Someday I'll modify it.
Excellent work on the shifter arm! Hopefully you rebuild the transition better than they rebuild my spine with my fusion! Lol. Sounds crazy but I saw a video of what they do during the surgery and it just reminded me of a car getting some engine work, power tools, the sound, tightening of screws etc and I just thought...dang...that's my human body, not a car! Lol anyway lol, awesome share and great progress!

G'Day Bud, a VIno-R-R Shifter will be better than a Lokar unit. I've seen some, & worked on Lokar equipment on various friends cars and they're not quite right. You inspire me to do something similar as I'm not entirely happy with the shifter in my latest rod.
Yeah build something give a guy great feeling....but when you make parts out of scraps that went to something else ....you just can't beat that how you Iike me now feeling
Maybe they will rebuild it into a nice five speed....even a four speed....Leave that last gear back at the factory.. Need a clutch master cylinder now!
