Chevy Van were awesome My grandfather had 3 of them a 76 model it seated 12 / 86 model sealed 12 as well / 94 model and it seated 15 , he owned them all and I remember growing up they were lined up in his driveway and he show me how too drive with 86 Chevy Van 2 tone blue pain and interior Awesome memories
These are awesome vans. My mom's friend had a 95 G20 Gladiator Edition back in the day. It was so cool. It was the High Top as well and it was fully loaded. Took a lot of trips in it. They ran that van into the ground, but they got their money's worth out of it. Anyway the Motor on this one sounds really good compared to the rest of the van.
Jay! Before you crush the van, GET THE RADIO!!! I want the radio even if it's not working. ^-^ Possibly the cool stereo in the back too? If you have time lol.
OMG.. My mom still has this van and it looks new...And runs great! It is bright red... her favorite color... she is 73yrs and still drives it..lol It has a TV and VCR in it... hahahaha
Those rear leather fold out couch beds are worth removing and keeping! I scored a power folding rear leather seat out of a 1996 Ford Econoline Explorer conversion van and it makes a great couch in the garage!
Cool looking van. Too bad about the body damage. That 350 is probably a better option for your s10 than the bus motor. Can probably even get the fuel injection working in the s10 if you wanted to go that route.
My truck isnt a fuel injected truck and thats why I want to replace it with a mechanical pump carb engine. That way I dont have wiring to add or deal with really. This engine will drop down in dads step side project
Joshua Heminitz agreed man. I was thinkin to myself it doesn't look completely trashed. Have the body damage fixed, new doors, and drop a descent transmission in it.
Well.. The engine is going to get some attention... once we rip it out.. The rest of the van is junk. Congratulations on 28th! I dont have an award system yet
Ahh memorys from highschool my dad bought a white one of these for 200 bucks we put a new waterpump and intake gaskets drove it for a year till the wreck loved that van
I miss that Chevy van I remember when I was 11 years old my uncle in north Carolina had a 88 Chevrolet van like this one but it was in bad shape and the engine blowout so he junk it I still miss this classic van
Ghetto Wagon that would be a really nice van if you put a little money into it keep the paint at original like fix a couple dents and you're good to go get the stereo working in the van cuz you not going to be able to find that factory radio
Wish I'd seen this sooner. it's not worth fixing because it would need to go on a frame machine to straighten the front end out. That front fender is welded on, not serviceable. Which is a shame because it's a sharp van. But there's tons of good parts there. The rear doors particularly, they always vanish up here as much because the latches freeze up as because they rust any. That front power seat is interesting, I've never seen one in a conversion before. Some of the parts like the cluster are 93-95 only, the trans is like 92-94 only, lots of other stuff like that. If it was straight I'd probably want to buy it.
hi Jay .I saw some of ur video s with an 86 Lincoln town car .I'm looking for a rear bumper for an 86. Lincoln town car new used or n.o s. any ideas where I might find one ?
the van looks beat but the 350 small block chevy is healthy the engine is worth saving as people would use it to build rat rods or power other vehicles as its one of the best production American made engine ever.
It looks like the body is rather destroyed but I suppose it could supply all the parts to convert another van with a decent body, but conversion vans seem to have rather had their day. Still, the 350 sounds healthy and there's a decent weight of metal to weigh in...
so other then broken doors windows no revse gear and dents, its in good shape, but the drivers side looks to be a errr a bit low as in serpenson might be gone or going

Sad to see it beat the shit out of damn shame
Yea, it was used and abused but it happens. Really makes me miss mine now
Jay Smart that 350 tho one tough mutter!
I tried to talk you out of it, Jay lol
I bet it smells like stale beer, weed and lots of shame
So it smells like your first time again?
adam tarver hard de harr harr ..got another Howie Mandel here..
You can catch me here nightly from 10-6
And sweet pussy..
I bet there were couple orgies in there

:55 the cup holders looks like the front of a jeep
Good sounding 350. Those engines run forever. I wish i had that in the 99 Silverado i had instead of the vortec v6.
Those rear leather fold out couch beds are worth removing and keeping! I scored a power folding rear leather seat out of a 1996 Ford Econoline Explorer conversion van and it makes a great couch in the garage!

Recently took a cross country trip in a conversion van. Def a neat experience !
I love these old conversion vans. My parents had one with a mini fridge, VCR/TV, walkie talkie in it. It was a cruiser
Sounds like a strong 350, lots of good miles left in her
That WAS a Beautiful van. I Own a G20 and this broke my HEART. LOL
I hope you kept this wonderful vehicle.I own a 1981 Chevy van.Hey, first gear will get you further than reverse. ...
Besides the trash and everything that's broken I think it could be a good van once again
Joshua Heminitz agreed man. I was thinkin to myself it doesn't look completely trashed. Have the body damage fixed, new doors, and drop a descent transmission in it.
28th!!! That van needs some love!
Well.. The engine is going to get some attention... once we rip it out.. The rest of the van is junk. Congratulations on 28th! I dont have an award system yet
that 350 sounded great
That engine is solid
For sure, it will make a great replacement for someone
140K miles, it's not even broken in yet.
If I would've found that van, I would've cleaned it out and fixed it up.
Looks like a good project van to convert into a A Team van.
The poor thing was not taken care of. Keep what you can and scrap the rest. P.S. I love that paint job.
I bet it really was sharp when it was new. Too bad thou, atleast we get a good engine !
yeah.. despite its 94' the paint job is really 80s but in the good way!
almost has a full set of funky cool rims
"almost" lol
Oh man is she a beauty!
Ahh memorys from highschool my dad bought a white one of these for 200 bucks we put a new waterpump and intake gaskets drove it for a year till the wreck loved that van
My last one was an 84 with a screaming 305. It was a big brown bomb, but it was so much fun
One of the best Chevy vans of all time wife grandfather had one In white he sold it for a Cadillac Eldorado 93 lol
Great video man . these are good vans my brother had a 94 in 96 . looks like the people entered the derby with this van
Sawzall the fiberglass top off the body, flip it over, attach a trolling motor, and you have a jon boat.
Throw a new trans in it. A traveler would buy it if you cleaned it up. Nice truck
Save it. Hard to come by these vans and they are nostalgic
I miss that Chevy van I remember when I was 11 years old my uncle in north Carolina had a 88 Chevrolet van like this one but it was in bad shape and the engine blowout so he junk it I still miss this classic van
Them back tilt open windows can be worth something. I changed mine out and it was easy..
That engine sounds pretty good! That toggle switch may be for the locking torque convertor. I had to do that to a couple of my 700R4's
Potential engine for your V8 swap S10??
I do believe but I could be wrong the van engines have 4 bolt mains.
Well, dads already called this engine for his step side chevy so I guess Ill have to keep looking.
My favorite conversion van is the Ford E-150 1985-2003
Engine is easy to pull, just drop the whole subframe out the bottom. Trans probably needs a sunshell. This would be a great powertrain for the S-10!
Yea Save the 350 and the 4l60E, ECM too, should be behind or under the drivers seat somewhere.
Of course, drive train is coming out tomorrow once we finish the bus. I think it would drop right down into dads stepside and look nice
I wouldn't save the trans though, it's a goner
Ghetto Wagon that could be a reason why the back radio don't work is check your fuses in might be the answer
Ghetto Wagon that would be a really nice van if you put a little money into it keep the paint at original like fix a couple dents and you're good to go get the stereo working in the van cuz you not going to be able to find that factory radio
wouldn't it be a 700r4? which i know is basically the same
Wish I'd seen this sooner.
it's not worth fixing because it would need to go on a frame machine to straighten the front end out. That front fender is welded on, not serviceable. Which is a shame because it's a sharp van.

I wish I could buy some parts off it. I'm slowly collecting parts for my 86 Chevy shorty van
sounds hella nice
Like the graphics on that. But yeah..shes toast save what you can and scrap the rest.
Bet in 94 that van was something
Man. that thing was cool in its day. Too bad the body is so rough, otherwise that would be a fun base for someone to build a small RV.
It would, but in this condition were just going to pull the engine and crush the rest
I love these year model vans soo big roomy
That would be so damn fun to fix up
realy nice sound of the engine
where are you located as me and my girlfriend have a 95 G20 sports van and would like to get parts off of yours before you scrap it
Keep up the good videos
Could be made into a REAL nice custom camper van for someone replace trans fix one or two things.
Its a lovely van !
Looks like it was a clean ass van before the last people trashed it...shame. 350 runs good
Man that thing seen better days...I could use it for a parts van
Nice looking van.
Im glad the toyota is still alive
PLZ do an update video on the jaguar also are you ever gonna get it running
Keep the motor for your S10
hi Jay .I saw some of ur video s with an 86 Lincoln town car .I'm looking for a rear bumper for an 86. Lincoln town car new used or n.o s. any ideas where I might find one ?
That's a sweet van
I got 94 , and transbeent out its vary nice loaded
You still have this van? I need the driver's side front (middle) slider window complete. Please advise, thank you.
the van looks beat but the 350 small block chevy is healthy the engine is worth saving as people would use it to build rat rods or power other vehicles as its one of the best production American made engine ever.
Super cool. To bad it's in rough shape.
It was a nice van at one time😃
Where is that junk yard located? If you mind me asking.
I want to say NC
Dylan Lowry Chesnee, South Carolina
It looks like the driver was close to losing his driver’s license because it appears that he would back into anything that was in his way.
Good parts car for sure
The headlights and grill are really cool looking, p.s. Looks like its got some camber on the driver side.
yea the nose is worth saving. That and the engine and harness. The rest is scrap
True, and 350's are easy to find parts for, b/c they are so common. If that engine needs something.
How much you want for the driver side rear window and the steering column
oooh an astro van i think you usa ppl call them, nice let me guess head gasket gone? engine problem that costs more then the vans worh or just rust?
looks still good for a `94 model . to bad they wasted it till its end ! :(
Im a die hard Ford guy but I certainly hope you save that low mileage 350.
It looks like the body is rather destroyed but I suppose it could supply all the parts to convert another van with a decent body, but conversion vans seem to have rather had their day. Still, the 350 sounds healthy and there's a decent weight of metal to weigh in...
Oh yea, the engine is totally good. We will be pulling it tomorrow
I'm looking to buy one of these so I'm watching a video on one being scrapped.
Do you still have this? I want to buy it!!!
Bet that was a nice van back in the day
Very healthy 350 V8.
I yanked a 350 out of a conversion van like that and put in an older box truck I blew the motor in.
so other then broken doors windows no revse gear and dents, its in good shape, but the drivers side looks to be a errr a bit low as in serpenson might be gone or going
I need that rear quarter panel
Dude save it, I know it's rather trashed but it's too nice to scrap, it just needs some care
That white pillow at 2:33 looks like it's got a bit of gun shot burns around the holes.
Save it it's really cool
i need the column and the drivers door handle !
When it’s a rockin’
Any new videos of more g20
I WANT IT!!
No one is going to miss that..
Nice to travel in
Do a whole vid of revving that van
Some people have no taste for nice things. I have a 1994 Chevy G20 Conversion Van and it looks 5 years old instead of 24 years old
Fix it and put a cam with side pipes , 292/501 hydraulic. Would work .
"looks like a van" said my girlfriend. lol
I'll give you treee fiddy for dat tree fiddy JK LOL
Nice van
looks fixable i love conversion vans but sadly ittl prolly get crushed cuz they aint to popular now
I can't believe this thing is running in that state.
The lady DROVE this thing in too. With no brakes haha
Nissan Micra It has a 350, those engines never really die until the rest of the car is falling apart.
@jaysmart that was a nice van in its time
love the van don't see them around
Makes me almost miss having mine lol
Jay Smart you had one
Id say that motor is worthy for a new car or truck sounds good. Someone obviously didn't like that "van" though lol.
Should save it. Not many of those vans left.
IS THIS STILL AVAILABLE?
