    "Women in heels driving stick" might be the most car guy fetish out there.

    • @JohannesKonow
      @JohannesKonow 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Only in a country where "driving stick" is an achievement.
      Here in Europe we just call it driving.

    • @JohannesKonow
      @JohannesKonow 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Robert King who said it was an achievement? (apart from theLaXandro above).
      ...most new cars in Europe are still "stick", or manual transmission as it is called over here.
      This is why the phenomenon "driving stick" is not a thing here. We just call it driving.
      My wife is allergic to automatics for instance and refuse to drive them.
      Driving a manual transmission is not an achievement. Only driving automatics is underachieving.

    • @JohannesKonow
      @JohannesKonow 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Robert King
      No I did not. Read again.
      Having a woman who can "drive stick" can only be a fetish where it's considered an achievement (i.e. America). In Europe they are not special since all women drive manual transmissions here.
      She's obviously not allergic in the literal sense but in the sense that she can't stand them. That was fairly obvious tbh.

    • @TheLaXandro
      @TheLaXandro 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@JohannesKonow Driving stick by itself is not an achievement, but driving stick in high-heels very much is.

    • @JohannesKonow
      @JohannesKonow 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Robert King that sentence does not in any way imply that I think it is an achievement. I am simply pointing out that the above only holds true in a country where its considered an achievement (North America).

    Those ramps came from the tow industry, use them on lowered cars to get them on the rollback wtith out tearing up the front end . So you could most likely find the ramps cheaper if you look in different circles.

    Spot on with the lift (Hoist) height,.. when you're constantly crouched or tilting the head over, it's a pain in the neck, and back, and legs, and arms,...
    What Cotton means is called 'chattering', where the tyre surface grips/releases/grips/releases in a repeated cycle as it drags the sidewall sideways until it looses grip.
    Expect it to be more then just the Toe being out, as it's showing wear on the outside edge, not the whole surface - if it was only the Toe, the wear would be across the surface, but with the Toe and the wrong offset, the scrub angle could be out, or it not enough negative camber it eats the outside edge of the tyre more during cornering.

  • @zook357

    The right hand front tyre (sorry Tire) will wear the shoulder more, because you guys go around left hand corners at faster speeds. We have the same, but opposite problem Downunder in Australia. Our LHF corner suffers more.

    It sure looks like that right front tire has been subjected to heavy handling more than it has been subjected poor alignment. To get the tire to roll over that much and get that much heat and abrasion wear into the mid/lower shoulder the alignment would have to be off by inches. FYI - depending on the tire construction, the tread compound can end just off the footprint area (contact patch) of the tread pattern. If you push the tire via heavy handling and get into the sidewall compound the tire wear in the shoulder will wear like an eraser rubber on a pencil. Some UHP tires wrap the tread compound further down the shoulder to help with wear during heavy handling. Good luck on you next date. I will bring you extra rubber(s) if needed.

    Check out the low profile long reach Daytona 3 ton! I use one of each, the yellow and the orange longreach low profile. The low profile will lift Vetts and low low autos.

    You can now seriously impress us by straightening that bent wheel and welding the cracks.

      By the ways - What's the same side back wheel like? It can't have missed that rock.

    Finn, You have such a beautiful wife. Youre a very lucky man. I LOVE her nose. Its so naturally perfect! I hope you never get rich enough that she thinks she should change it (or anything). It would be such a crime to change that beautiful face. Best wishes to your future, guys!

    Oh Finnegan, thanks for bringing back the memory's 😂😂😂 a late best friend of mine did that same thing with a grinder, but he was standing right in front of me back in the day in high school shop, how however in this case I was there to help beat out the flames, but his fire was a bit lower on his T-shirt, so... I wasn't just beating out the flames 😂😂😂 I was repeated slapping him in the nuts! 😂😂😂 more pain than being on fire.

    Oh man, I love media blasting parts.. Between that and painting stuff, it's so amazing to take a rusty POS that looks like junk and strip it down and see the good metal that's hiding underneath. I did that a BUNCH in high school including the cases, swing arm mounts, cylinder covers and a few other parts for my family's 1946 Indian Chief that my grandpa helped my dad buy when we lived in Mississippi when I was 9. My grandpa worked on them in WW2 so that's why he was willing to help my dad get it.. and why I wish I had the money to buy it from my dad and redo it so he can never sell it because it should stay in the family. Being from Mississippi though, it was one big pile of rust, the only thing that wasn't rusty is the tanks which are somehow perfect. The fenders were completely gone along with the trans gears, rods, the chrome on the bars, the rims and the bottom of one side of the frame.. I still need to strip the paint off (my dad had the frame painted in MS for free) and fix the rust in the bottom tube of the frame.. I don't own a MIG or TIG though only an ebay gas setup and a HF Flux Core welder. Welcome to being physically disabled, autistic (which I only figured out at 31) and on blood pressure meds that make you never know when you are going to sleep.. getting a job is pretty much impossible, so I have no money to do ANYTHING.

    You can flushmount a scizzorlift into the ground so it's just a piece of floor when it's not in use.

    Dig the style of the spare more than those Forgline wheels. 15x7 Rallye Wheels would look cool :-) Or maybe some AR Torque Thrust D

    EVERY JACK FROM H/F:
    Take all wheels off, grease EVERYTHING, put all back on. Medium locktight on adjusters for swivel casters.
    And don't forget to top off the fluid.

    If you are looking for a good wheel repair place I would recommend Metro Wheels & Accessories. It is a family company and they do good work.

      @@FinnegansGarage do you think that the rim is repairable? I'm in a similar situation but was thinking I was going to have to buy a whole new set of rims.

    I have a beautiful 1967 El Camino, full 4 link and pro roll bar, rear end, trans, 15x14 rear rims. I live in Orange, Ca. Cancer has put this project on indeffinate hold. Would you consider using it as a test bed for your engine projects? I have a auto 4 speed trans. set up for 1000 hp. The frame should be good for 2000 hp. It's too nice a car to let sit.
