There's something slightly unerving about hearing hat kid being out of cares to give. The lyrics sent a shiver down my spine when I thought about ot being hat kid singing. Amazing lyrics and vocals though. Keep it up
I'm very glad you like it, and that's actually kinda the other way round of what I was going for - Hat Kid isn't out of fucks to give, she's finally STARTING to give a fuck lol
If I had a nickel for each lyrical cover of You Are All Bad Guys that came out today I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's strange that it happened twice. But seriously, this deserves just as much recognition as the Man on the Internet version. This is also the first cover of this song (that I know of) which is wholly from Hat Kid's perspective, so that's definitely a unique take.
THIS IS AN AMAZING COVER!! 💖💖 Although I don't think this really relfects the true character of Hat Kid, this is certainly an intresting take on the fight.
@@svgaming263 Thank you, thank you! And yes, we took some creative liberties with Hat Kid's characterisation for this - It's part of the larger Lyrical Rift narrative, so the changes will make sense when that fully releases Hat Kid's selfishness has kind of been elevated to being her main character flaw, to contrast her with Mustache Girl's selflessness - It's supposed to cover corruption and growth at the same time through two different characters, hence Hat Kid here is portrayed as a lot more of a "I learned my lesson" type of character than she is in the game proper
this is genuinely great and probably the least amount of views ive seen on a lyric video… not only are the lyrics perfect, the singing is great too! i really love this

for a second, I actually thought this was MOTI's one that I had listened to earlier, consider me pleasantly surprised
Tysm tysm, honestly yeah I liked writing Hat Kid's perspective bc I knew no one else had done it yet and it would be really fun
I love that the same day this dropped we got MOTI cover of the song out of nowhere

Okay but i was hyped for this to happen, and here it is. 10/10 the lyrics are well-made as is the VA effort
Tysm, it means a lot that you were hyped for this haha
Now we need a duet with both of them and it will be complete. I personally prefer Mu's version but this is nice too.
@@RTOmega As the funky music man once said "Just you wait"
My fav part is 0:45 and also literally everything after that this cover is so good
