If you're only interested in the first boss fight, here's the timestamp: 25:40! Did I *have* to use the Mocking Slap? Probably not. Did I *want* to use the Mocking Slap? ABSOLUTELY!
bone golem > spider widow, bone golem have way more goody abilities such as : • adding block on ally • ulti to remove enemy block or lucky stun • self healing • disrupt stance • self destruct for oh shit button not to mention golem have tons of hp and rarely die unless enemy does critical constantly
I think it's unfair to say that the Bone Golem is strictly better than the Black Widow; both of them are excellent tanks that excel at different things. There are even a number of builds that utilize both of their unique skillsets, but the Bone Golem will be making an appearance soonTM. I have a few things I want to test out with him. Excellent formatting, btw. ^.^
I've been using mummy with blood phantasm in the back 2 rows, mummy can get hit a few times and gives out per cent luck debuffs, bloodphantasm can do some serious damage with her once skill that deals extra damaged per debuff, often hit for 80-101 with that and has a high chance of critting due to negative luck.
That's an interesting combination. May I ask which difficulty you're playing on? A lot of people have given up on the Blood Phantasm, but it's good to know that not everyone has. (=
@@Fableheim It's been doing well I'm on the medium difficulty still having to make my way through that. but has been doing work on the more tankier enemies and nearly at the final boss
@@flappajack97 Ohh, I think that's the unique item for the BP. Have you gotten enemies to hit him a lot in the back row? The Ashes cause Ignition on hit, which could be nifty to make this idea even stronger. I'm familiar with being unlucky when it comes to items though. :c
Hmm you could make a team of, a vampire, mummy, shade and lost soul. or have you had the idear to use the mummy with the bride. and the mummy's luck debuff skill can be upgraded so the buff is permanent or well until end of battle
I'm trying to avoid Stress-related teams this playthrough, unless I absolutely need them. That being said, I've been mulling over the Mummy a lot. I would like to use him but I need more braaaaains.
Spiky Cocoon is somewhat interesting to me now that I know it's counterattack applies Venom, in a way I think you could double down on it to make it more useful by using Armor Plating(10% all damage reduction/) as a lower heal % may mean this is better than Bull Skull?? and the Black Widow's class specific artifact that doubles the amount of Venom applied per attack. As I see counteattacking as a much more efficient way to spread Venom then Black Widow's 1 attack per round. However, the counterattack still has to make it through blocks(could see this as a way to whittle down block for the damage dealers?), I'm still not convinced Venom is "good" or at least good enough to rely on, and the counterattack's damage itself isn't great but still did about 10-11 per hit + Venom, so respectable, I guess? Hmm, I suppose counterattack is an attack(obvious I suppose, just didn't think about it), so maybe another "on attack" artifact would be better than the Black Widows's class artifact, maybe Witches Ashes for more reliable ignition damage, or maybe Acid Gland to give the counterattack a chance to remove all armor and resistance. Could be interesting, I suppose.
Also, I was watching the Black Widows's Hp interaction with Bull Skull and it was indeed giving filled MaxHp, so that does make it better to me and therefore maybe a small heal(in a way).
I like how I picked up the Spiky Cocoon as a cute test, and you leaned all the way into it. Still, your theories make sense. If I could somehow provide her with extra protection, like a Wraith EVD cloud or a +Block/Ward, we might be able to lean all the way into a Spiky Cocoon build. A Boiling Blood Spiky Cocoon might be equally hilarious, even though it's vulnerable to the same weaknesses as the Yolo Solo Fallen Dhampir without her tremendous life leech. I'm just afraid that my current use of her requires the Invigorating Cocoon to keep her alive.
@@shadowofaion7950 Yeah, I agree. I think the community is thinking that the Bull Skull is like a Bone Golem-only item, but I think it has been scaling decently with the BW as well.
@@Fableheim Yea, wasn't really interested in Spike Cocoon at first, but after seeing that it inflicts Venom it got the old gears turning. I also beleive Invigorating Cocoon is indeed better for pure tanking, to make Spike Cocoon work I think it would need a fair amount of help, like a healer or some artifact to make up for the fact it isn't Invigorating Cocoon levels of healing, and at that point you really have to wonder if it would be worth it all. Most likely not, just wacky test shenanigans really.
@@Fableheim A random enemy crit... it all went downhill for her at that point. You went from being careful and using cocoon all the time to protect your second slot, to not using it at all and losing her :/ Why did you take glass dagger over the chance of better parts? The glass dagger will be gone so quickly or am I missing something?
If I were to chance that series of events at all, I would probably have entered my Cocoon on the turn that I spit on the Demolitions Expert. The Black Widow can provide a lot of support, besides just sitting in her Cocoon, but I've learned the hard way that should only be her focus if she is acting as a secondary tank and not a primary. The glass dagger is a subpar item, but the reason I took it is because I had no weapon equipped at all. I figured that a mediocre bonus was better than none at all; of course, it doesn't help that I forgot to equip it until the very end. e.e;

I use that mana item on my zombie and he does that stance blast every round gaining me lots of mana. Fun with smashy.
