    After mentioning it at least 5 times, we finally obtained the Glutton's Tongue! The only question now is... will we live long enough to utilize it? I'm really missing my bonus to brains. T.T

    I do have some advice for the 4'th floor. But let me just say as to not spoil, you would like some good stress teams, not to mention a Bride with the serpant skull, 2 mummies ( one with the purge your own debuffs and one with purgeing enemy buffs), the lost soul. And with that you can pretty much do some funny stress damage, along with potential physical damage from the bride who can crit for high damage and with mummies who have Agile wraps works that the luck debuff lasts until end of combat which works nicely with the mummy's own ultimate and well critting

      I am VERY interested in the Mummy so I will take your advice to heart. Maybe not this exact team, but I'll begin stockpiling to be prepared. Thanks for the spoiler-free tip! ^.^

    Sudden tought: how about switching positions between the Widow and the Zombie?
    Zombie is a decent tank, trench loading helps. Boost initiative to make sure you get the chance to ward/block before the enemy moves.
    Widow in second position allows better defence for the squishy back rows; as far as I see it the spider lady is less of a tank and more of a *dedicated warden*. That's a big difference.
    So keep the rear secure, trench load A LOT and unleash an upgraded firebomb or buckshot when the time is right.
    It seems valid on paper.

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree that the BW is more of a warden and that your proposed strategy seems decent on paper. A lot of strategies -- perhaps our own soonTM -- involve bone golem frontline with black widow in slot 2 to protect some form of hypercarry (Bride, Dhampir, Lich, etc.). I think that Zombie slot 1 depends entirely on what you're fighting. Trench Loading won't save him from being the primary target of a Berserker and a Marksmen, for example. It could work on more caster or tank-oriented teams, though. Or a certain someone... (=

    Loving it as always. Looking forward to the builds you're prepping with the items you're looting. I'll admit the unfrozen's becoming one of my favourites. Even after nerf, he chunks enemies, and I love saying "yeet" every time he uses the ice spear.

      Thank you for the kind words and support! I have a lot of ideas that are brewing but I need more braaaaaaaaaains, hopefully we come across some soon. The Unfrozen is a favourite of mine as well, and I think the tuning brought him down in line with more Creations. Interrupting Stances through Block with the ice spear is one of the more satisfying things in the game -- YEET! :D

    8:15 - Why not both? armor and vigor is a good deal

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ¿Por que no los dos? That's the correct question to ask... if we had more points. The reason I mentioned was because Armour/Res could be stripped away, but the BW also scales better with Vigor (her cocoon heal is % of her max hp) and we are trying to minmax points atm. If I had some rare parts for that BW, then I would be more comfortable putting points in Armour.

    does the spiky cocoon work with vampire teeth?
    if yes then it would propably heal more than the alternative
    EDIT: if so best Widow would propably be "Vampire Fangs" + "Ball and Chains"(or whatever the real name is)

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Vampire Fangs (heal for 15% of damage dealt) activate upon any damage dealt, so they do work with the Spiky Cocoon. Unfortunately, the healing from it would be quite minimal. With the Black Widow's current attack, it would be 2~3 Vigor gain on every reflect. Using her in this frontline-ish manner, I think that it would be more valuable to reduce the damage that she takes via Armoured Plates (10% reduction to all damage received) or eventually Drop of Divinity (15% reduced damage received and +15% increased damage dealt).

    • @yuridhjeeyn9034
      @yuridhjeeyn9034 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Fableheim but wouldnt that be enough healing to make it about as good as the other cocoon in terms of healing?
      and much better in terms of dealing damage

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yuridhjeeyn9034 It would bring it on par with the Invigorating Cocoon and could even surpass it, if one were to dump stat points into attack. It's most certainly not a bad choice, but I think the decision of the Black Widow's second item depends entirely on how you plan to utilize her. As a tank (or off-tank), I think the flat mitigation or even the healing of an Enchanted Heart (heal for 5% of your Vigor at the start of your turn) would provide more sustainability.

    Well for one to fully lay armageddon on the living I find this comp fine:
    4th litch
    3rd lost soul
    2nd place optional (I run golem for thickness)
    1st zombie
    It works well with shrapnel since the zambo has some res bulk and the lost soul gives ward to it in a pinch.

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm scared to press that wrath ability, but this... could work. Kelthuzad would occasionally hit for 100 with his Q, and I'm not sure a Zombie could take that, even with his baseline Res. I would be very paranoid about Wards on him. XD

    • @imabirdo
      @imabirdo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Fableheim well if you went with the team above you have 3 sources of block and ward and 2 heals one from lost soul and bone dudes self heal its a pretty defensive team, banking on the litch and the zombie to do most of the damage on the worst conditions it's a grind fest and the enemy flees wasting time. I won more pain with it swaping around the second slot for utility purposes.

    Mate, I just had a run on easy and ended up with a crit build that was pretty interesting...
    Mummy, Bride, Hunter, Ghoul...
    party may be too squishy for Good always wins, and mummy doesn't trigger the negative luck thingy many times...
    if I had legcuffs for the ghoul I would move the mummy to 3rd and bride to 4th... Ghoul could be swapped for a Widow too... I kept the ghoul cos she can remove blocks on 4th spot... and widow can remove blocks up to 3rd position
    I'm in love with Coward's foot headless hunter. For the mummy I use sharpened bone to surpass block and acid gland (could use something else here)

    • @marioroman9337
      @marioroman9337 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swapping out the mummy could bring the vampire in... the widow would be in charge of lowering luck... tho this slows the block removal/stance interrupt process in exchange
      Bride Hunter Widow Vampire
      they all have multi hits that are good for the last floor, but I imagine on proper difficulties the team would be a bit too squishy. Using Infectious Lunacy round 1 too... (I don't think this would be wise on high difficulty either)

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That right there is a glass cannon team if I've ever heard of one, lol. The idea is interesting, though. I still am quite inexperienced with the HH because I'm looking for a Mechanical Eye to negate his ridiculously low accuracy. Mummy has been used to surprising success in the 3rd/4th slot, even if his on-hit Luck debuff barely triggers, and I'm excited to try it out when I get some more brains.

    • @Fableheim
      @Fableheim  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@marioroman9337 I don't think the Widow wants her priority to be lowering Luck, unless she's being used as an off-tank. A lot of people like to run ?/ hypercarry / Black Widow / Bone Golem on higher difficulties, and they've found a lot of success with that. I'm quite eager to try it myself but I'm still missing a few puzzle pieces. I'll be testing out Infectious Lunacy very soon so I'll let you know if it's a good idea to cast turn 1 or not. XD

      @@Fableheim Before Mercenary Camp HH was my mvp assisted by ghoul(remove blocks, buff before HH ultimate) spider using the evasion/luck debuff and mummy placing a target with no block on the position marked by the HH just so he has guaranteed damage... the HH damage output it's still good to say the least. Mercenaries are a different story, tho... for them it does need the mechanical eye. I bought a banshee in for the mercenary camp she's cheap accuracy.
      I'm a tiny bit suspicious that stalling a fight yields lower rewards than crit killing the enemy party in 2 turns... got a purple dust and blue bone by killing a three golem party with HH, finishing 2 golems in one move(dual slash criting one and one not) and the last one with ulti crit. On the other hand, the first fight using unfrozen and widow and healing the party before the killing blow yielded me no artifacts...
      Also, idk if this is a spoiler for you or not but the bounty hunter can remove the entire armor from your arch-nemesis, Tesla-Dwarf... doesn't change a lot, since probably still better to go for the toys, but... in my run, that would allow for bride's ulti to hit him, which it's welcome.
      The mummy has been the common factor to all my games. Maybe it took a while to u to use it in the back cos The Unfrozen covers a similar niche. It's nice that you can throw it anywhere and you don't have to worry about protecting it... also removes stuns from the party that can save a minion from time to time. I'm keeping its initiative low so it acts after the enemy party has doing trying to position themselves. Sorry wall-texting btw

      I don't think Overwatch interacts with their movement abilities in that manner. I believe the Bride will only shoot the enemy that you actually pulled and not the ones that were just moved out of the way. That being said, something like LS/Bride/HH/Golem would be a decent Overwatch group, allowing for significant support from LS and BG and for everyone to have a movement ability of sorts. The only ability that can trigger the Bride to shoot multiple enemies (I believe) is the Wraith's ultimate that causes everyone to move about.
