I'm still new and always frustrated everytime I suffer defeat. But when I watched ya tutorials and learn from your insights, I finally gained a deepening perspective in the game including the every roles of individual heroes. Thank you Betosky, your perception is really a huge lift for a noob like me.
Lemme say my suggestions on a particular item: 1) Oracle. Must-have for Lolita(it buffs her passive shield), Uranus(both passive heal and dash shield). Is great for: Hylos(too much heal both from ult and healing spell, only if there is some magic damage), Khufra(CD and passive heal, but isn't as profitable as for other heroes). 2) Antique cuirass. Must-have in almost all cases. Especially against assassins and mages. Don't build if enemy is full magic. 3) Dominance ice. Must-have only against MM, probably except for Claude. Hylos(synergy with his second skill and also give 750 hp, which is a great bonus), Khufra(is always jumping and sitting on MM + CD), Atlas(synergy with passive). 4) Athena shield. Only if enemy core and one or two sidelaners are magic. Examples, Kimmy(core) Chang'e Uranus, Harith(core) Pharsa(side) Valir(support). Athena shield is great to combine with Oracle, and don't build Athena shield against Esmeralda core! For Esmeralda side and Magical core, is ok, not great, but ok. 5) Blade armor. Against Demon hunter sword. Claude, Badang. Ok against assassins and core fighters. 6) Twilight armor. Against critical MM and only in late game, except for Bruno. Examples, Bruno, YSS, Irithel, Hanabi. Also great against Aldous. 7) The other cuirass(don't remember the name). Nice for Baxia, Uranus, but mostly not profitable as other items 8) Belt. Is mostly useless for tanks, better for support who need some extra slow and mana regen. 9) Immortality(or something like that). Must-have in any game, but you need to sell it if you died and was revived and buy other item in late game, until 3 minute CD is over, and buy it again. 10) Wings. Great for tower diving initiator tanks, that doesn't have much regen. For example, Khufra, Minotaur, Tigreal. 11) Cursed helmet. Is mostly not great for defense, but for lil extra damage. OK for Khufra, Baxia, but I will not recommend. 12) Healing helmet. Is mostly useless, I mean, other items have hp regen too, so in late, if you're camping, hp is usually full. Masks. Two masks of the same kind do not stack. CD of the effect on the same hero is 80s, while the skill itself is 80s. So don't buy it if your support or other tank already built it. Masks in the beginning. If you're goin 122, then bottom tank/support buys it first and mid one buys after the first creep, NOT THE FULL PACK! If it's 131 then both just buy it, it will work. If it's 122 and your goin bot, but mid bought it before the creep, then buy it after red buff.
I like to buy mask after buff kill so I can effectively kill/harass as level 2 in lane. Securing a fast kill for MM can usually dominate that lane for them and you are more free to roam for midlane
I like it when I saved my team from being killed and both of us come out alive, it was like I'm a hero. I also liked it when I spoil my teammate with the deaths of our enemies. it was like "come with me, let's go and hunt. I know you're hungry lil buddy"
I understand what you mean. I guess we are one of the few people who likes being a support. We just love seeing our enemy fail because of us. It feels like we were the reason they lost and it feels so good.

Imagine if you have a tank teammate like Beto. That's my wet dream. Btw, a tip for anyone who uses Franco: Always aim at the right side of your opponent (or just aim straight to them if you're good). The right hit box is larger than the left so you'll have a higher chance of hooking the target.
I'd also recommend instead of building antique cuirass to just build an dreadnaught armor, because its way cheaper with 730 gold instead of 2170 gold. The comparison of the damage reduction Antique cuirass: 6 percent damage reduction stackable 3 times = 18 percent | Dreadnaught armor: 4 percent damage reduction stackable 3 times = 12 percent yes its 6 percent in total but you have 1440 more gold to spend for other items like the oracle, etc what in my oppinion is more valuable (ofc you are going to build the antique cuirass completly whenever you want) I hope this also helps sry for gibberish english :D

If for some reason the enemy lets hilda get 8 stacks(like an idiot) then her dmg from her combo can do that to tanks too equal to 3k+ and does'nt matter if you bulid defense this skill ignores 90% defense after 8 stscks and malefic roar
as a Tank user, this is legit Tip: on both MM and Tank especially Tank there's no Item set, you should build mid game to counter the enemy's build, Fighters and Mages too but you can set items to them as well because their capabilities are still OP even without Item adjustment, Assassin's on the other hand should only counter items on Tanks and Fighters because mostly they are the ones carrying defensive Item some good conters; -If Enemy's MM has Demon Blade don't use Items that gives you tons of HP instead go for Armor -If Enemy aren't hitters (skill types) don't waste money on Blade Armor just go with Dominance -If Enemy has True damage heroes buy Items with tons of HP, for Karrie who deals True Damage via HP% I recommend Antique Cuirass, Blade Armor and Dominance Note: some can have all attributes true damage, HP base damage and critical hits best combinations would be Bladed, Dominance and Oracle, do not use Twilight

one thing id suggest for next video is showing us when you buy your items and what decisions in game make you change the order for what items you buy, i always notice even when you show us a build for a hero without farming gear you buy it still and in this video you bought the mask last, so it would be helpful to know why you make those decisions, great vid btw
Hey Betosky, Cursed Helmet is also good to many tanks. The passive of Cursed Helmet is really good for tanks that doesnt havr thr ability to clear waves fast such as Akai, Minotaur,Baxia and etc. Because it's passive allows it to deal magic damage to enemies or creeps around them and the more hp they have, the more damage it can deal.
I love playing as Tank so this video will be a great help to me. I hope you could do same video for other roles such as Marksman, Mage, etc. I am so excited.

All franco players play aggresive and roam around the map (for vision,fun, bullying) , I myself am a franco main But buying mask at 11 makes no sense Coz the mask works for the first 9 mins of the game(the sharing thing) , if you buy it at 11 I don't think it makes sense(just talking about the wooden mask). He usually sets the mask as the fourth item. Usually when you're playing as a tank, the mask is the first thing you'd look for at the shop(?). So he either forgot or purposely didn't buy it since no one is saying anything (anddd he'sa good franco)

Well actually most of the times I use franco as a support/tank so I dont focus on building defensive items for him but to enhance the ability to catch the enemy carry. My main items for him are the high speed boots, conceal mask and the resurrection shield. Btw I love ur guild Betosky

Wow, I was ready to ask you for help building all classes. I always struggle to what items build first, should I focus to counter that hero or damage. I hate default building as almost every item is situacional. Btw I see a LOT of people building totally wrong.

for boots selection, if the enemy team has balanced magic and physical damage, I check for heroes with CC's.. if there are lots of CC i will use tough boots

If enemy Esmeralda start becoming a bother, someone on your team should build anti heal item by that point, then it doesn't matter because she will only steal millimeter of it
As a tank main, I found the builds that I'll use all by myself. My tip is to not copy the TH-camrs when it comes to these games. Everyone has its own gamestyle

This is more as a Franco video cause his tanking isn’t really tanking, also some of the items you neglected are so good for certain tanks early game to finish fast like for example the blade armor gives u 90 physical def for 1600 only and that’s really cheep, plus it’s 50 gmg from basics attacks ,overal tanking depends on the opposing team so that was a nice point, and the boots options are spot on ,nice work! Also you forgot to recommend about the emblems and side skills for tanks
Still building roam early on is essential, it also helps to not let the core fall behind and if you’re feeding as a tank you’ll still be provided gold so you’re not too far behind
Hi there Betosky, I'd like to tell you something about a bug(not quite sure but been experiencing this quite some time) for esmeralda. So could you pls make a video about it to confirm my suspicions cause it's annoying every time i play esmeralda in rank game. And so for the "bug" it's like this every time i cast esmeralda's ultimate and get interrupted by a cc or somethin it wouldn't let me make basic attacks or cast any of her skill until the animation of her ult is finished, it kinda like stuck which makes her the most vulnerable during team fights cause you cant do anything. Kerrie deals % of max hp damage. Against kerrie just full armor. You can’t do anything about passive but to reduce usual damage

one thing id suggest for next video is showing us when you buy your items and what decisions in game make you change the order for what items you buy, i always notice even when you show us a build for a hero without farming gear you buy it still and in this video you bought the mask last, so it would be helpful to know why you make those decisions, great vid btw

Hey Betosky, Cursed Helmet is also good to many tanks.
The passive of Cursed Helmet is really good for tanks that doesnt havr thr ability to clear waves fast such as Akai, Minotaur,Baxia and etc. Because it's passive allows it to deal magic damage to enemies or creeps around them and the more hp they have, the more damage it can deal.

All franco players play aggresive and roam around the map (for vision,fun, bullying) , I myself am a franco main
But buying mask at 11 makes no sense
Coz the mask works for the first 9 mins of the game(the sharing thing) , if you buy it at 11 I don't think it makes sense(just talking about the wooden mask).

He usually sets the mask as the fourth item. Usually when you're playing as a tank, the mask is the first thing you'd look for at the shop(?). So he either forgot or purposely didn't buy it since no one is saying anything (anddd he'sa good franco)

Well actually most of the times I use franco as a support/tank so I dont focus on building defensive items for him but to enhance the ability to catch the enemy carry. My main items for him are the high speed boots, conceal mask and the resurrection shield. Btw I love ur guild Betosky

for boots selection, if the enemy team has balanced magic and physical damage, I check for heroes with CC's.. if there are lots of CC i will use tough boots
Yep tough boots is the equivalent of SNY(Satanic) of dota 2. Reduced CC time. Avoiding being chain stunned to death.

If enemy Esmeralda start becoming a bother, someone on your team should build anti heal item by that point, then it doesn't matter because she will only steal millimeter of it
As a tank main, I found the builds that I'll use all by myself. My tip is to not copy the TH-camrs when it comes to these games. Everyone has its own gamestyle

@@Travel.penang sorry for bad english. basically it is essential to build first Roam item in your tank to prevent the Sharing of gold to your carry/core. ( usually tank and core/carry is partner in rotation of the map to prevent carry to invade)
Basically, you can build cursed helmet and blade armor if your team is dominating but if it is a hard game use the build above

This is more as a Franco video cause his tanking isn’t really tanking, also some of the items you neglected are so good for certain tanks early game to finish fast like for example the blade armor gives u 90 physical def for 1600 only and that’s really cheep, plus it’s 50 gmg from basics attacks ,overal tanking depends on the opposing team so that was a nice point, and the boots options are spot on ,nice work!
Also you forgot to recommend about the emblems and side skills for tanks

Hi there Betosky, I'd like to tell you something about a bug(not quite sure but been experiencing this quite some time) for esmeralda. So could you pls make a video about it to confirm my suspicions cause it's annoying every time i play esmeralda in rank game. And so for the "bug" it's like this every time i cast esmeralda's ultimate and get interrupted by a cc or somethin it wouldn't let me make basic attacks or cast any of her skill until the animation of her ult is finished, it kinda like stuck which makes her the most vulnerable during team fights cause you cant do anything. Hope you'll see this and ill also try sending this to other MLBB content creators. Thanks and keep safe.
