      It is on par with chatbase. Pretty powerful and really good deal.

    To use OpanAi API Key you need token, which you have to buy. This can be very expensive, depending on how much your customers use the chat.

      I host chat on over a dozen sites with lots of traffic and only once had to pay more than the $20 monthly and that was due to creating over 100 blog posts with pics.

      I created a chatbot for our restaurant at Retune. And then just chatted with him for 15 minutes. Afterwards I was surprised at how many tokens it cost, namely 100K = $0.15.
      We have hundreds of customers who will ask for various information. This can quickly become expensive and, above all, not profitable in our sector ... @@RobFore

    Thanks, Rob! Are Retune and Chatbase similar with regards to bots being able to reference the chat history?

    • @RobFore
      @RobFore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they both seem to offer very simlar functionality and history is part of the package. If the retune lifetime license is still open, that's the best deal, though I do have a paid chatbase account as well.

    Not able to restrict re:time chatbots to embedded content. Until that happens it has very limited use cases.

    • @RobFore
      @RobFore  ปีที่แล้ว

      On nowsite? Right. Right now they are trained on your personality, writing, style, etc. and you can set up differnet business or product profiles - and combines used the trained bots to produce content - web pages, blog posts, social media post, etc. - which is good for people who can then use AI to author content that is really good. Later I would expect them to add embedding options.

      @@RobFore thank you for the reply. It was marketed as a tool to create bots to sell to business for their sites. Can't do that as long as GPT allowed to go outside embedded info. Needs to be their TOP priority.

      @@jeffzack6965 They just put out an update that prevents the chatbot from answering anything outside the given context. Tested and looks good now. Give it another try.

      @@jeffzack6965Not only that - no proper workflows, including i.e. sending the chat to the client. No tools/functions to i.e. send request info to a client. Simplistically naive embedding model. No workflow embeddable in any way - you have one prompt. This thing, sadly, is not even on a toy level for any real use case.

    Could you do a quick demo on your personal Bot setup or is is really just as simple as uploading the pdfs and asking it questions?

    Can this be used on a Shopify clothing store

    • @RobFore
      @RobFore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely. If you can add a script to a page, you can use it anywhere.

    • @ThomasTomiczek

      Can? Yes. WRONG QWUESTION. Can in a useful way? no API integration, no way to take anything - no way this is better sadly than any of the othe rplatforms.

    But ChatGPT 3.5 by OpenAi API is not for free... 🤔

    • @RobFore
      @RobFore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure it is. You can sign up absolutely free and use it all day, every day. It is only if you want access to 4.0 that you will need to pay $20 a month.

    Very good and helpfull. But, it seems top good to be true for that money. What is the chance that after paying $400, this goes backrupt and you have lost your money? Or same as HBO, a lifetime for X dollars and they change the brand/conditions. Maybe I'm sceptical, but still.....

    • @RobFore
      @RobFore  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are never any guarantees, really - but this is the direction technology is taking us. Every product, service, tool and even entire companies come and go. That's why, I think, after 30 years of being an full time affiliate marketer... I have never found the SET IT AND FORGET IT button. Because there are always changes.

    • @ThomasTomiczek
      @ThomasTomiczek ปีที่แล้ว

      Does not matter - sadly it is a very extremely naive chatbot anyway. It is more likely you end up stopping to use it after some super short time - there are tons of holes iincluding in therir whole approach. Whoever did that had a lot of experience with ChatGPT and never realized what a bot platform should offer.

      This seems to be one of the better bets for longevity. I've seen other lifetime deals that offer monthly credits, which can only be sustainable if the company is successful. Retune doesn't include credits, and therefore should have much lower operating costs, so it's more like buying traditional software.
