@@CubeSolveHero IDK about GAN 11 M PRO but GAN 12 MAGLEV magnet adjusting system doesn't make magnets go deeper in the core, it makes corner to edge magnets stronger.

I had the 12m leap and now have 11m duo. Both are great but I find myself liking the 11m duo more due to the corner to core magnets being a good length but still giving a nice lock in. And very controllable and fast. The 12 is similar but I was just getting a few more catches both are good though

I have the GAN M Pro as well and I really enjoy it. The maglev technology seems like a nice upgrade, but I think I’ll try upgrading my RS3 M 2020 with the maglev kit before investing in the GAN 12. Great video comparison as always.

IDK about the GAN 11 M PR but GAN 12 Maglev magnet adjusting system is not making magnets go deeper in the rabbit hole, it's just making corner to edge magnets stronger.

The last one on the gan 11 should be on the gan 12 (in my opinion) I tried both cubes and the gan 12 is for me way faster, more effortless and more controllable

i have the gan 11 m duo, which is the same as the pro but without adjustable magnets. Being honest I like the cube, but I hate the reliability in the cube, the magnets somehow came off the inside of the corner piece( for edge to corner magnet). And for the core to corner magnet a magnet also came off the corner but thats due to them not making the plastic stronger trying to reduce weight (but I don't think this happens with the pro because you can adjust the magnet settings). But its still annoying this happened so I don't think I'm going to get the Gan 12 because I heard the plastics weaker and I don't want something like this to happen on a $80 cube $46 is already bad enough. I do believe Gan can fix their cubes, they just need to make the plastic stronger and stop focusing so much on the weight of the cube because it doesn't matter as much as reliability. (edited: I got the cube less than 3 weeks ago)
@@alt2484 This doesnt happen at all, litterally everything about the new gan is better than the old one, good luck even trying to break one of those. After months of use there isnt even a scratch yet
@@zeyxl5956 good news I was able to fix it, but damn thats still annoying that a $46 cube has such weak plastic that can break off when solving.

You should do Moyu RS3M 2021 Maglev Vs Weilong WR M Maglev
I'll give my opinion on the Gan 11 and 12.
Both cubes are good and it is about preference and turning style that makes which cube better for you.
The Gan 11 has:
- Smooth Turning
- Moderate Speed Turning
- Heavier turning than the Gan 12
The Gan 12 is/has:
- Fast turning and has added stability due to core magnets
- Effortless and Airy Turning
- More Crunchy turning feel than the 11
Addressing the magnet strength:
I've never had +2s due to magnet pulling it back and I have magnet settings on 3.
I'll say that to overcome this problem, it would take adjusting the magnet strength to a more moderate one and adapt to the cube.
Addressing the catching issue:
I have never really had it.
Addressing the speed:
I don't find the cube too fast but occasionally when I do U flick with my left finger during U perm it may do a U2 but that happens rarely. To slow down the cube, increase the magnet tensions to a higher setting and slow it down with slow lube
Overall I feel that Gan 12 is better than Gan 11 as it's regular corner-cutting is more forgiving than the gan 11. The effortless turning makes turning of the cube more enjoyable.
These are my opinions and not everyone's are the same.

I just noticed watching this video that the longer corner magnets on the gan 12 don’t actually make a difference because on the 11 the magnets that stick out from the core are longer so they still touch the corner magnets but the 12 has shorter core magnets but longer corner magnets so they touch
It does make a difference, the gan 12s magnets attract the pieces more due to it being closer to the inbitween of each magnet, so when you do the turn it jumps straight to the next magnet
im fine with using a tool and i like to see what is inside the box so i prefer gan 12

I tried the gan 11 and 12. But in my opinion the 12 is soooo much better in my opinion with the turning and magnet strength but I will agree on one thing. The 11m pro has a better case

The 12 has a weird lockup problem as explained in multiple videos, i.e. by Jperm. I got one myself and can confirm that it feels really odd and after a couple of months now I think the inside is degrading from all the catching, making the cube actually worse than my Moyu Maglev. Also it's really noisy. What a waste!
Everyone is different. I personally really enjoy it.
@@CubeSolveHero No, they’re saying it is an problem from the 12 because of more catching when turning . It’s not really because of personal preference
about the noise, turn it slowly and you'll notice its like a clicky, sort of crackly noise that happens every little bit, its because of the corner to core magnets wiggleing around I noticed it in my gan 11 as well but its much less noticeable, I removed the core magnets and it made it feel like the XS and alot more smooth, some people dont have that problem on either of them, my cousins gan 11 doesnt do it at all.

I have them both. The Gan 12 is hell for M-moves and I have serious issues with catching and getting worse times. The gan 12 is also loud as hell and stupidly fast. I like the gan 11 way better, its also cheaper (and comes with a literal pokeball)

For me i actually like the more complicated inside, just because(at least for me) i think it gives a more exact feel of what i enjoy and do not, and I’m fine with the tools. So for me gan 12 MagLev wins 🏆

As much as the GAN 12 is better than the GAN 11 in most cases, I personally just adore the feel of the GAN 11 and (for me) how well it adjusts to my taste. Auto Aligning? GAN 12 is better but personally makes no difference. Magnets? I prefer the GAN 11 for some reason. Customization? GAN 11 by far. Don't get me wrong I'm speaking with experience. I have both and I do admit the GAN 12 is amazing and would recommend it in a heartbeat but for me the 11 is by far the winner of my heart. Overall? Call me an idiot or a dumb bi*ch but the 11 wins for me
