$600 a month is a lot. I'm Filipino-American and temporarily lived in the Philippines for 7 years. My rent at Princeton Residences, Aurora Blvd. corner Gilmore was $375 a month, that's a doorman building with security and an outdoor pool. I lived on $550/month all in, including rent, food, utilities, etc. As for coffee, you can buy coffee beans from Rustans. But the best coffee is the local Mountain or Ifugao coffee. Good luck.
@emiljacobo9150 Thank you for your response. Was it a condominium/resort? Or an apt complex. Also, was it at the city or the province? Also, was it a one or two bdrm?
@@Ricaninthephilippines I rented a studio condo on the 39th floor of a high rise--Princeton Residences, Aurora Blvd. corner Gilmore, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. @BillClemens It's called Verdon Parc in Davao City. But you can look at other condos that are fairly cheaper with similar amenities around this area. Also, look at Cebu City, BGC, General Santos, and the metro Manila area for their housing prices and Amenities.

@erikmichael3493 Philippines love playing basketball. It's their number one pastime sport here, and yes, it's more affordable here, although you can rent for cheaper in other areas with similar amenities. $600 for that size is too much. I hope you only signed a 6 month. Rent price will be coming down in the next few months due to the POGO industry leaving. Won’t be as nice a view but the quieter surrounding will be worth it.
@angelsantana3001 I'm only here on a 6 month lease, I'll be relocating after the lease is up, and the price is not a big deal for me, it's way cheaper than what I was paying for a 1 bdrm tiny apt back at the states, and i get more amenities than back home, so 600 dollars is a steal for me.
