Always worth a detour from the Mendip Way to take in that viewpoint. That car park used to be free but since become pay and display. Some people hate that change but, being quite a small space, it might help to keep the visitor numbers sensible. I walked down and on through Wookey Hole a few weeks ago. The path along the bottom was as wet and muddy as ever. 😅
Never heard of those stones or the gorge. You always bring something new so yeah, Cheddar Gorge or anywhere else through your lense would always be welcome 👍🏼 Thanks for taking us with you ✨🫶🏻✨
Ebbor gorge is great, always makes me feel like I'm going back in time, it's changed so little over the millenia that I can imagine people would have been seeing the same sights as today. Great video mate.
The view from the top of the gorge is pure ethereal magic!

Great video mate.
Cheers man!
Love this spot. Barrows and Roman leadworks round Priddy are worth checking out too.
Absolutely! I've once did a video about Priddy - th-cam.com/video/CGzafOJ5bZk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9dBQTiviv6BFp69a
@@_the_wessex_nomad_ I knew I had seen something up there before! Plenty of gems to show round Mendip. Good content, keep it up.

brillant as always, john rogers is hot on your heels
Wonderful hidden gem with breath taking views. I can see why Jacob Rees-Mogg, on GB news is always banging the drums for Somerset.
Haha! I have bumped into him before!
Was he just as charming in real life. He makes me laugh how much he loves Somerset, it's sweet. @@_the_wessex_nomad_
Awesome Somerset. Good one
Cheers, mate! Beautiful area, and overlooked.
Really want to hang at that gorge at some point. Looks amazing.
Just say when, my friend!
I did the Mendip way and took a wrong direction there recently, cue two hours of scrambling and slogging through mud. Type 2 fun!
Haha! Easily done but all part of the adventure!
