This is a video review for the best electric kettle I came across on a time consuming research. There are many electric kettles out there but you rarely find one without plastic at all inside it. Many of them they have glass or stainless body but with a plastic led or filter.

Hi Hsin, You have a valid point.; thank you for your feedback. At 1:11 I should have shown the bottom of the kettle as well. By the way, it is all stainless with a flat bottom which makes it easy to clean. I hope this helps.
Does it have any silicone at the bottom?

Is the inside lid also stainless steal.? Many kettles have stainless steel bodies, but the inside lid is plastic, so the steam hits the lid and can apparently drop into the water some undesirables. ✨
I have the exact kettle and even though I like it’s a fast boiler, I do not like how it stains in the inside bottom, even if I clean it with white vinegar, stains remain. I’ve had it for 8 months now and not sure if it’s healthy boiling water as it is...

Hi there, thank you for reviewing..thinking of buying this kettle,, just curious about the lid locking,,is it tight enough for not to let the steam escape,, what is ur updated review on it,, worth spending or should consider 1835 model ( variable temperature setting) as the reviews are a mixed bag.
Thank you for your question. The lid doesn't scape steam but the spout does; but because the kettle has double walls, it keeps the water warm for long time compare to other kettles I've tried. I personally prefer to stay away from kettles which have plastic in it, that it is way I would recommend this kettle over the one you mentioned (I believe the kettle you mentioned has plastic inside and in the lid; I might be wrong though).
