It would be epic to have a dream adventure where a charisma check could change the dream

This has everything. Personal stakes, meaningful decisions, mysteries to solve, and the potential to grow into an entire campaign. Quite possibly my favorite video you've made yet.
I would love to see what you come up with for Revenants. Sometimes the enemy that only has one goal is scarier than the enemy that has many.

Thank you thank you!! I personally like this one as well since it changes drastically per character used on and per campaign setting.

The thing is it's kinda spicy if the party also have either have a sorcerer with the hag bloodline or a diabolic pact of the chain warlock with an imp familiar, I guess they would sense the hag manipulating the dreams. Plus, the Great-Old-One warlock can read minds, right?

Using a night hag coven”of varying CR) for my first time DMing. It’ll take place in a tavern/inn with a few other surprise monsters that teamed up with the coven to feed on souls, dreams, and the sleeping. The inn/tavern will be ran by the Coven but other monsters will help to get their fix. Succubus are the servers and late night call girls for unexpected fun(the party won’t know this). An incubus will also take camp there as maintenance and cleaning staff. The main hag will serve drinks while the other two cook food. They all work together to create the perfect illusion/business. The location rotates. Feel free to use the idea in your own campaigns and mix up the monsters or details.

I feel like a good way to handle the pendant might be to allow for the Night Hags to have npc magic that allows them to use something akin to the _creation_ spell that's cast through the person who's dreams they're interfering with, causing an object of their choosing (the pendant) that was a part of the dream to manifest back out in reality in the immediate vicinity of the person who's dream it came from. Or to make it something like the _phantasmal force_ spell where it's not actually real, there is no pendant, but the person who was "given" it is absolutely convinced it's real so long as they're given no cause for reasonable doubt, and so while they try to keep it from the party as "their god" instructed, the party would have no way of actually finding it, since the pendant only exists in the paladin's mind. The party eventually learning about the pendant & the paladin revealing it only for everyone but them to be incapable of seeing it & realising the paladin's under an illusion could be what tips them off about the hag(s) to go after them.

Totally combining this with a recurring group of oni who are the agents of the covens in return for information about items. The hags are also working with the BBEGs similar to the witches in Macbeth!

    Thank-you! This is awesome.
I’m running Curse of Strahd and we have a Paladin in the party, so hags are perfect for corrupting him. He already has a guilty conscience over inaction leading to the deaths of his brother Paladins in his backstory so I’m gonna have them play on that.
Or (and I love this one) if he dies I’m gonna have the hags pose as a god offering him unlife as a Reborn serving “him” and corrupt him from there.
All of that is at the behest of Strahd, of course. What a total b*****d 😉

So glad I stumbled (via the infamous TH-cam algorithm) on this channel! Subscribed immediately :)
In my campaign I'm building up to a mini boss fight with a night hag out to capture the soul of one of the PCs (a lot like you've described!) so this was so perfect to be able to add your dream ideas to the mix. I was planning on just the single night hag with some redcap minions for a party of level 5's. But I still have time to change that up....

      Welcome to the party!
Sounds like a great idea! Remember, a hag coven is far more powerful than a single hag, so level 5 might be a touch low level. But of course, anything is possible in the hands of the right DM and players :)

In my campaign, at the end, if they successfully defeat the coven, they will find a small girl hiding in the back rooms. Every time I've run this, they always return the girl to her family. Once over, I read the party an epilogue. In 6 years time, children go missing from the town, men begin doing terrible things, women act crazy, animals become wild. The little girl Maja slaughters her family, eats her baby brother, and wreaks so much more untold havoc on the town. She was always the progeny of the hags.

Doing a dreamscape adventure for my players with a half night hag/half ogre mage (oni) crossbreed this Sunday. Basically a dude who can manipulate people via their dreams, and make dream demiplanes. I plan on him getting away since he's a little OP, so would be cool to manipulate my gf's aasimar cleric like this and build up to a proper confrontation.

Am gonna start my 1st curse of Strahd campaign soon
If you are familiar with the module, do you have thoughts on adding depth to the night hag coven in the bone grinder windmill ?
I feel the adventure as written is not playing with things like manipulating player dreams and the like
As written they r straightforward despite their attempt to deceive appearing as sweet old ladies

Without their coven, they really are not that tough. On their action, they can cast a 1st level magic missile or use their claws once. Once. Give these monsters at least multi attack.
They will be running and escaping ethereal from your superheroes if the shape change doesn't fool your players.
