That girl Kookie was afraid of is a singer called IU. The reason why he was so nervous was that he was a fanboy of her's....and her album was the first album he had ever bought....so naturally he was nervous sitting next to her. it would be the equivalent of asking a hardcore army to sit next to their bias from bts at an award show. :D

The first scene was BTS members returning to their seats after receiving an award and the female artist sitting down was IU (she's known as the Korea's little sister) and also just so happens to be Jungkook's ideal type. He really looks up to her as a senior artist - listening to her music and being fully immersed in her songs whenever she performs on stage, there are clips on the internet that show Jungkook even singing along with the song as he knows all the lyrics. During his predebut days, when he auditioned for Super Star K3 (before BTS), he sang one of IU's songs called "Lost Child;" and in interviews, he's revealed that his first self-purchased album was IU's album. So, it would make sense if Jungkook were to see one of his idols, someone he looked up to for years, and feel somewhat uncomfortable to have sit next to her; especially since they're not close.
Rather than being scared of girls, since a lot of the boys' staff are female and they work really close wth them as most of them are their stylists, hair dresser, and makeup artists; they feel more uncomfortable in terms of being shy around them bc they aren't close with these singers. In the beginning, since BTS were small and unknown, they usually kept to themselves and hardly interacted with other artists or celebrities; now they have large friend circles, V is known as a social butterfly as he tends to become friends with everyone he meets. And as you probably know, it's easy for idols to get caught up in (dating) scandals, as seen with Hyuna and E'Dawn, which can be frowned upon in the industry as Hyuna's contract with Cube Entertainment (her former label) was extracted. So it's rare for male and female idols to be friends, especially as rookie artists, as it can lead to suspicions; although it is possible to have friends of the opposite gender since Moonbyul of MAMAMOO is included in Jin's '92 Liner friend group.

In the first clip they weren’t necessarily “scared” per say. JK has had a “thing” for IU (the young woman in the video) for years so they were tryna get him to sit next to her lol he wouldn’t do it so it looked like they were all just awkwardly standing when they were actually waiting for JK to sit next to her (cuz they didn’t want to sit and then have JK sit next to one of them so he could escape the situation haha) 😛
