PS5 PLAYERS - Currently, platinum is impossible to get because « Maranda’s Mistake 02 » is bugged, impossible to collect for some reason. You can verify if the bug is fixed by simply check the percentage of Platinium and « old school cool » trophy. It is currently 0.0% which means absolutely nobody got it because of the bug. UPDATE 10/09/2024 - Bug is patched and you don’t need to make a new save to unlock it. Good game everyone

It’s funny I think it actually let me pick up Miranda’s Mistake 2 but it’s not counting as I picked it up my transmission’s are 15/16. I wonder if this is the progression glitch the developers were talking about when they told PS5 owners to start a new game
Confirmed glitched on ps5. Beyond frustrated. Went to each of the transmissions in Toshara orbit, double checked, and no prompt for the landing pad…..smh
So ive collected all 16 and didnt get any form of progression on this quest the game has me on the encrypted messages part. Gonna roll to the location you provided to see what happens
I mentioned it in the video that you cannot reach the landing pad without the upgrade that allows you to use the speeder on water. Sorry for the confusion!
You can go to the landing pad on Akiva after 4 transmissions, but you cannot complete the entire questline that happens after without more transmissions.
I talked about it in the video. There is a door that was supposed to open but didn't. Luckily if you get close to the door, the fast travel point unlocks and you can get through it by fast travelling to the landing pad. It'll open itself after that or when you restart the game. Can't comment specifically on the PS5 version.
Yeah i got all 16 transmissions and nothing is happening but i am on pc so i dont know if this is known to many people. So i basically cant unlock the veteran@@jeffjohnson7011

I’m able to acquire all 16 of the transmissions but I can’t get the quest to satisfy and for them to become decrypted… anybody else ran into this? Great guide though thanks Maka - just hopefully I can get this sorted…

You're the best!! I did do The Veteran quest before getting all encrypted messages, then finished collecting the rest of them. Worked out fine.

From the most recent response from ubi, you have to restart a new game for no bugs/glitches to be in your new save

It’s not I got the game updated it started a fresh character for the first time and this thing is still glitched for PS, hopefully they fix it soon

can comfirm this just went round getting them all, container is there just can't interact with it :( makes you wonder why it works on xbox but not ps5

Weirdly, this let me go to Akiva after only getting 4-5 of the transmissions. This was on the Series X version

I didn't jump the ramp, but landed at that location via the ship. (From space flew to planet and chose that landing site)
There’s no ship wreckage in tatoonie for me there’s nothing at all

For me it unlocked after the speeder upgrade quest on akiva
