    Would someone please buys this mans Subie, It's getting expensive for me to watch this TH-cam Channel. I keep seeing stuff I thought I didn't want. 🤣🤣 It's one thing to see parts on line on a manufacturer's website. It is another thing to see it installed on a Subaru that is somewhat similar to yours with respect to modifying style. The only issue I have with the Cobb unit is that there is no sight glass so you can see the coolant level. That is kind of important. Killer B Motorsport reservoir has this feature.

    Awesome install video: had this playing on my phone today while doing the install on my 17 STI. You just missed one step: what do do when you drop one of the screws deep inside the engine bay and have to jack up the car, take off part of the belly pan to get it out :D.

    Damn, ordered one for my '18 WRX but don't think it's gonna fit. I'm pretty sure the Process West FMIC piping comes right in the way but won't know until it arrives. If all else fails, I'll get the black Mishimoto one for our cars. Same shape as OEM, but black/metal. Only problem is I would have to figure out what to do to get rid of the ugly ass windshield wiper neck 😂.

    Getting more into DIY stuff… your videos help! Seems like a simple question, but how do I figure out the size of fasteners? Like the two titanium fasteners you have added on top, what size are those? I might want to find them in black. I don’t have any aftermarket nuts/bolts in the engine bay, but I might want to replace a few here and there like in this case since it might be a silver fastener on a black powder coat.

    • @Scoobyfreak86

    This looks great, I've been looking for a place to add a Catch Can or AOS, does this mod open up enough room for one of these. Usually the Perrin and others are mounted on the passenger side beside the intercooler, which is pretty cramped in the 2019 STI. This would be a great solution if it makes sense.

    • @Scoobyfreak86
      @Scoobyfreak86  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The iag aos works best on the back firewall passenger side. If fmic, then you can mount it above the pitch top. I wouldn’t know of a way to mount an aos or catch can in the area up front though. You could if you fabricated something custom.

    • @Studio603OnTheAir
      @Studio603OnTheAir 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Scoobyfreak86 Thanks for the almost instant reply, a while back I didn't see a good instal video for an AOS, I just watched one and now I'm sold on the IAG, just as you suggested, they really thought it out and even down to a new mount for the Electric wiring bundle. I think this is the path as well as the coolant overflow that you've shown. Aloha

    Q: So how do you know if the coolant is low and/or needs to be topped off a bit? And aren’t you selling the STI for a Bimmer? Most people who are not sponsored would be parting the car out instead of adding more mods in. That’s one serious mod addiction. 😊

      @@Scoobyfreak86 You're right but I believe the aftermarket part you're installing is a bit heavier, the same goes with installing metal washer fluid reservoir would probably add few KG to the overall weight of the car. In performance cars I'm sure you're familiar with the principle "less is more" no matter how negligible that is.
