I did this because my pets are in and out of my room all day and all night. The door doesn’t close all the way without a bit of force, so I leave it open, just against the doorframe. They taught themselves how to open the door from both sides, but they are rude and don’t close it behind them!! Lol this fixed that issue, and I can keep my room at a comfortable temperature now!

Or you could use a springed hinge.. or a huge neodymium magnet on both the door and frame. Youd just have to make sure you dont have any metal in your pockets or credit cards.. lol

you could use screws and fishline :) makes it more permanent but even of you do this with command hooks I reccomend fish line as its stronger and more durable
