I sat here and watched this movie only for one reason.... Manu Bennett plain and simple if he wasn't in it I would have switch to another movie after maybe the first 10 minutes of the film. I grew up with the stories that the Minotaur was something with the body of a man and the head of a bull but i gotta say this guy looks almost like Rinox from the Beast Wars....kinda cool
Loved the movie. Manu Bennett is an excellent leading man with that charismatic voice. Steven Grieves is a classic rich medieval bad guy. The other actors also gave great performances: Lily Brown Griffiths as an unassuming girl who turns into the Minotaur avatar with those crazy eyes and chants 😄. I think the sparse use of CGI balanced with generous costuming was great. Dialogue was strong with the villain, especially with Steven Grieves defying the gods, getting good shots of that statue.
An arm to munch on was such a shock! People changing into cattle! Where is Doctor Monreau? A very fun movie. Sinbad could and his crew could have more of a sense of humor in various battle scenes, not too much salt.... A nice television series.

Someone mentioned this movie has a Xena & Hercules series feel to it--correct, in fact I'd say also the feel of the TV show Tarzan & Beast-Master..in fact, the actor who plays the Wizard AL-Jabbar is the same actor who portrayed the main villain of 90's Tv series Beast Master & he was also I believe in the 20k's movie as a vilain in Conan with Jason Mamoa
The wedge-tailed eagle has the call of a sulphur-crested cockatoo !!! Nevertheless, good fun, good costumes, make up and creatures. The actors playing the Minotaur spawn must have had fun with this. Much better than similar movies with ridiculous story lines and mistakes.
Always a good thing when the hero in an ancient greek story has a US military buzz-cut; it meant that I wasn't very much surprised when the Beautiful Bottle Blonde Harem Girl in Sequined Bra made her appearance. And look, it's the entire "blonde-brunette-blackhaired" set! Because if do out-dated silly Arabian Night clichés, do them right.

Zulu swashbuckler. Sinbad is one of my favorite swashbuckler ever and this movie was definitely good had a horror movie vibe with it kind of how you probably would expect it to go down if something like this was real‼️
