@@GerardC75 he’s still correct. Turbo prop is just jet and prop propulsion all in one and uses a combustion very akin to that of a jet.
A2D-1 is not a piston aircraft, it's a turbine powered plane, a jet engine that drives a propeller, also known as a turboprop

I got a discount for the Hornet Mk1 and I've used it in Air Rb and Ground RB
Surprisingly manoeuvrable for a twin engine, and the 20mm Hispanos still deal out a lot of hurt. I usually catch fighters off guard because of the decent turn time
Ground Rb it's brilliant too. All of the previous points plus a couple of RP-3s and 1000 pound bombs is very good
One of my favourite aircraft for the 6.0 range, especially since British 6.0 tanks are the best lmao

i have all of them but a2d1 but in the real game I managed to climb that speed only on p51.
Imo for air RB Ki-83 is stronger despite being slower

True but factor in that the A2D is a turbo prop, the 24 is faster than the hornet in arcade and the 335 never reaches that speed

Rolls Royce only built a few hundred Mustangs
America bought under licence the Merlin engine and named it the Packard v1610 Merlin As a stop gap motor for there newer fighters while they still had there next gen motor being developed
From memory a total of 140,000 British made Merlin motors
And America pushed out 55,000 Packards
They had already made 7,000 roughly (don't quote me exactly on figures) before the Packard motor was used
